Man finds screwdriver impaled in head after looking in car mirror [w/video]

A man from Poland found a screwdriver impaled through his forehead – but only after catching his reflection in his car’s rear-view mirror.

The 25-year-old was doing some work in his garden when he lost his balance and landed on the Phillips tool.

However, he only noticed something was sticking out of his head when he looked in the mirror after the fall.

Rather than screaming in horror, though, the unnamed man calmly lit a cigarette before asking a neighbour to help him get to hospital.

‘I don’t remember what happened that day, at some point when I was working in my garden I slipped and fell down,’ said the man, who didn’t want to be identified.

‘Next thing I remember it was my hand hurting and some weird thing near my eyes.’

The impact was so hard the screwdriver managed to penetrate five centimetres into the front of his head.

Luckily for him, the tool missed his brain and became lodged in the frontal lobe of his cranium.

Surgeons at University Hospital in Bialystok managed to get the screwdriver out after operating for three hours. Amazingly, the man is expected to make a full recovery.

The point of this thread is that if you drink too much Vodka you will not feel a screwdriver going through your forehead. Don’t be that guy.

Journalism majors don’t take too many anatomy classes.

LOL

Nor do Polish drinkers,

It's the other end where the screwing is supposed to take place.

Most kids know better, but not all of them.

But it's a great backing track for a shrimp on a treadmill.

That budget probably allowed it.

It also would have been appropriate for Run, Forrest, run!.

I wonder how many Polish surgeons it takes to unscrewdriver a dimbulb.

Just enough, apparently.
