Should Congress approve comprehensive immigration reform?
No -- there's no need for it, and Congress won't get it done anyway
Yes, with an emphasis on the pathway to legal status for illegal immigrants who are here
Congress should address this through a series of bills, as opposed to one massive package
Yes, but any deal must secure the border

Got this response from my libtard senator when I registered my aggravation that we are having this debate, yet again...
“Thank you for getting in touch with me about immigration reform. I agree that our immigration system is broken.
It is time we undertake comprehensive immigration reform that secures our borders, maximizes American economic prosperity, provides a path to citizenship with fair and rigorous requirements, and imposes tough sanctions on employers who break the law.
I support efforts to curb illegal immigration such as increasing criminal penalties for immigrant smuggling and document fraud and eliminating or modifying the use of government documents that are easily forged. Better enforcement and tougher penalties for employers who employ undocumented immigrants are among the important steps we must take to fight unlawful employment opportunities the major driving force behind illegal immigration.
While I do not support amnesty, I believe our nation should consider establishing a process by which undocumented immigrants can eventually earn citizenship. We should provide children who were brought to this country through no fault of their own the opportunity to contribute to their local communities and our nation.
The solution to our immigration problem will not be a simple one, but it is time to take a common sense approach to immigration reform.
Thank you again for being in touch with me.”

No doubt about it.
“What we need is a third America First Party...”
I agree friend, when do we get started?
FReeEEeePED:
NOPE!
We know how “amnesty” turned out last time!! There will be NO deal to “secure” the border — whatever that means.
Yes, with an emphasis on the pathway to legal status for illegal immigrants who are here 8.31%
Yes, but any deal must secure the border 45.83%
Congress should address this through a series of bills, as opposed to one massive package 18.66%
No — there’s no need for it, and Congress won’t get it done anyway 27.2%
There is a step one, which makes illegals, legal, there would be no need to bother with the other steps, no one is going to make them obey the rules or ask them to leave. They would have legal status and that is all they would desire.
But don't get excited, I'm not buying into it. First, who will enforce the security and enforcement? Second, it will still spur a flood of new illegals who think they can get in on it regardless if they can or not. Thirdly, how will they know who was here the day the law was signed and who came after that? Fourthly, Rubio's plan sounds very reasonable and he sounds sincere but I know and you know it's only a sales pitch and by the time the House and Senate get through bouncing it back and forth it won't have one tenth of what he's talking about left in it. And it will have a load of crap that's outrageous no doubt including a few billion in pork for things that are totally unrelated to borders, illegals or immigration.
