Newly discovered notes from a U.S. Army interview of former Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler doctors reveal that the madman had homosexual tendencies, did not sleep in girlfriend Eva Braun's bedroom, and was doped up with multiple drugs including female hormones. Written in erratic shorthand, Army interrogator Herman Merl, a Vienna-born medical technician enlisted to interview Hitler's doctors, Karl Brandt and Theodor Morell, scribbled "Homosex" in his notebook where he sized up the mass murderer's sexuality.

He then wrote: "Eva Braun = separate rooms" before adding "female hormone - injection 50,000 units." Elsewhere he wrote, "His sexual life and intercourse with Eva Braun was told to me."

There was a program on the Military channel sometime back and it had an interview long ago with the man who was the butler of the house in Berchasgarden. He said that he, his wife and the maids in the house all knew there was never any sex between Hitler and Eva. The maids he said never found any evidence that sex had taken part between them in the bed. The bed was always totally clean and straight and that the maids had looked for signs and found none.

The BBC has presented a study on Hitler's physical condition which included the likelihood that he suffered from syphilis as well as Parkinson's disease. There is no doubt that he was receiving enough drugs to kill John F. Kennedy from his own Doctor Feelgood, Doctor Morel.

There is some suggestion that Hitler was homosexual, clearly the early Nazi party was full of homosexuals. And there is little doubt that Hitler had an exploitive sexual relationship with his niece who probably killed herself out of revulsion.

By the time of his death, Hitler was clearly deranged and it just was not from inherent insanity, although that can be presumed, for is clear that no one could consume the amount of barbiturates and other mind altering drugs that he is now known to have taken and remain sane. His interference with the generals' conduct of the war, which accelerated toward the end, can be ascribed to his drug addicted, mind addled, condition.

Maybe. But Freudians in those days, like gay advocates today, were keen to find homosexuality just about everywhere.

Merl doesn't reveal just exactly what was told to him about Hitler's "sexual life and intercourse with Eva Braun," but scribbles "homosex" somewhere.

That makes it look like it was his judgement, not the Nazi doctors. It also suggests that he wasn't going to reveal just exactly they told him.

This raises more questions -- for people who are into this sort of thing -- than it answers.

I remember most of it, but not anything like taking female hormones. He was, however, impotent.
He did not sleep with Eva Braun. Did not allow her to be seen by guests. Had her meals sent to her room. Kept her mostly out of sight. More of a prisoner than a mate.
At one point he was smitten with his neice who was young enough to be his daughter. When she found a boyfriend and wanted to get married, he held her captive. He tried to have sex with her but couldn’t, so he blamed her and beat her mercilessly. He held her for something like three years.

I get a kick out of how over the years every vice known to man has been ascribed to Hitler. He was not a vice ridden individual. Indeed he was rather puritanical in word and deed.

Hitler was a gifted GERMAN leader. He resonated with a strictly GERMAN audience.(Remember radio and film as mass communication media were just coming in- which helped him.) He had little appeal for a non-German audience.

Leadership today is-well one has only to look and listen, their appearance says all.

William Shirer wrote about Hitler’s possible homosexual proclivities in his book Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich.

He also traces Nazi roots hundreds and hundreds of years and of course destroys this stupid, albeit common, notion that Hitler was “left wing.”

Hitler hated communists, "bolsheviks" as they were known, not for their ideology but because they were a rival power center and which had outside support. Also because they had seized Russia, Hitler's obsession. In Germany the two parties vied for domestic support among the same demographics, and people switched party loyalties back and forth with some frequency.
