Intrade predicted every state correctly in 2004

Yeah, not need to read any further. Bull*!!!. I remember seeing with my own eyes, Kerry up to 90% on Intrade on election day. Only after actual election returns started coming in did Intrade crash and put Bush ahead.

Nixon played it safe in 1968 and managed to squeak through. Romney must be trying the same gambit, might not work, for 69 million may still believe in Obama.

The answer is the polls don’t work anymore. The response levels are so low that the narrow interests of special interests are over-represented.

Me thinks someone is trying to lure Romney into a trap. Romney is doing just fine.

FWIW, it’s not just the Intrade market predicting Obama to win it, but also others:

A potential caveat is I’m sure many Intrade bettors also make plays at these other sites as well.

Food for thought.

If Romney’s playing it safe, it is because he is way ahead.

They are spending a huge amount of money on ads in the remaining close states and still visiting ones where he has a lead to keep them won. They are doing the right things, as far as I see it.

Given your screen name I presume you are hoping Romney continues to play it safe and loses.

This guy has the states all wrong. The only necessary state yet to be decisive for Romney is Ohio. Colorado is won, Iowa is likely to go our way, and Wisconsin is tied.

Obama going down in landslide wave election.

More a loss for liberalism than a victory for Mitt - but its coming.

Romney made his decision about how to play this a year ago.

Right or wrong, it's his to play. If he loses, there will be hell to pay in the GOP civil war.

If he wins? I will man up and say I was wrong and he was right.

His strategy is to let Obama be Obama. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

If the People elect what they saw during the 3 debates, we are f***ed anyway. If they elect Romney, he won't have to deal with being the guy who ripped apart that nice man Obama.

He won the right to run the campaign his way. We get the answer soon.

Good luck, Mitt.

Romney had every opportunity to blast Obama on Benghazi but he and his brain trust chose not to do so. I trust their judgment. Benghazi is now 100% in Obama’s court and it is becoming too big for him to hide.

Chuckle...

Better inform the candidate’s themselves of this, because ROMNEY acts like a WINNER and OBAMA acts like a LOSER.

From this thread:

- - - - - -

I remember reading a couple FReepers' thoughts following the 3rd debate that their 'sense' was that both R & Ø acted like they knew something had or was about to happen.

They then proceeded to (mainly) sidestep the entire Libyan situation, with much wailing / gnashing of teeth here re Romney's 'missed opportunity' to stick the foreign policy knife in deeply.

And now, as this TREASON is finding the light of day, perhaps the mystery of that debate 'something' becomes clear as well.

Perhaps Mitt figured out, or was advised, to steer well clear of the entire CF and allow the MaggØt to hoist himself on his own traitorous petard ?
