Is the Beslan Massacre a practice-run against Western schools?
Eight years ago today, Chechen Muslim terrorists launched an attack on a school in Beslan, Russia that resulted in the slaughter of 338 people.
Of that number, 172 were children.
Largely ignored by the Western media, the Russians haven’t forgotten the savagery the terrorists propagated against a civilized people during the Beslan Massacre.

I don’t remember the media being unforthcoming with this story. I can remember being as wracked over this one as I am about the butchering of our ambassador to Libya.
Is this the same attack where the terrorists told the mother to pick the child she wanted to die or live? (can’t remember how it was worded)
I remember Beslan VERY well!!!! And I even helped raise funds here in the US for the relief of the survivors and their families.
Brutal muslim Chechen bandit terrorists attacked the school in Beslan on the first day of school in the fall, which is a very important day in Russia. Most of the victims were ethnic Ossetes, and all were Orthodox Christians.
The savages attacked them simply because they were Orthodox Christians!!!!
The media doesn’t care about us Orthodox, except to cast us a villains and the muslims as victims. But God cares very, very much! And if non-Orthodox Americans don’t pay attention to what the muslims are continually doing to Orthodox Christians and Jews, they’re next!!!!
FReepers will recall that I beat the Russians to proclaiming the martyrdom of the Christian children and their teachers who died at Beslan for no reason other than that they were Christians, though various churchmen in Russia have since done the same. I expect someday the commemoration will be found on liturgical calendars besides the one I post for our little Orthodox chapel in Kansas.

I think so - I guess the vile bastards had watched “Sophie’s Choice” - like the way we might watch a musical comedy.
FR was up and running and we were constantly in touch with one another over this atrocity. I even remember where I was when this monstrosity started. I went straight to FR and all the horrible info was there.
I remember Beslan. I’ll never forget the act committed by SAVAGES who should be banned from all civilized countries!
