A doctor sent to sign the death certificate found it strange that his body was warm. At closer observation she discovered he was still alive.Been there, done that.

That poor guy having an MI at such a young age...I wonder
what the future holds for that guy...like if he has
hypoxic brain damage, or severely compromised heart function.
Very sad medical milieu he existed in...I mean the doctor
comes to pronounce him dead, but notices he is still warm...
uh, duh....didn’t the family notice anything?

When a person was buried there was a cord to pull if they were still alive, which rang a bell over the grave so they could be rescued. Something like that I read somewhere.
