Are the parents clueless or just stupid? You can’t allow a 11,12 or 13 year old get on the internet unsupervised. Kids are curious and will google or look up odd things.....Much less let them have internet access in their room. The internet is a good place for kids to be able to learn but their are seedier sections where kids need to be kept from
So we should ignore it? Porn is just getting worse and worse.
It damages marriages which is the bedrock of our society.

My question is, how are you going to do it in a manner that the “cure” isn’t worse than the “disease.”
It is pretty sad that a woman could be so unappealing that her husband would rather whack it to a bunch of electrons than have sex with her . . . or that a woman would be dopey enough to marry a dude like that in the first place.

Very good question. I don’t propose legislation as the answer although it may be part of it. Banning bestiality and similar things.
IMO the real answer is through Jesus. When men have a closer relationship with Jesus they can focus on the right things, and not the bad stuff like porn.
I heard a stat at church; if the man of the house goes to church the rest of the household is 87% more likely to go with him. As compared to the woman wanting to go to church but not the man. Men need to wake up and be the leaders God instructed us to be.
When you can’t even get consensus on a conservative forum like FR that porn is evil then this country’s in a whole lot of trouble.

Oh heck of the husband spent that much on plastic surgery on his wife instead of porn maybe she could compete. Still can’t get around the airbrushing though.
In other words the women in porn are fake! His wife is real. That is why she is “unappealing”. Her flaws can’t be airbrushed, she does not and may not want fake boobs, and other forms of painful expensive plastic surgery.
Yea these woman are unappealing compared to a made up fantasy.
HOwever these are the wives who cook, clean and have babies. I guess that makes them unloveable. To be loved they have to be a hot sex siren.

Porn is devastating marriages. Ask a priest or minister.
A women with normal proportions and normal weight that can wear make up correctly and dress nicely will have no problem with their husband. Yes it takes a modicum of work but the “take me as I am” crowd needs a good education. They are fodder in the war between the sexes.
An addiction is an evolving process. It’s easily possible the man was either clean at the start, or was simply in the early stages of the addiction, where he was only spending a few minutes at it at a time, but still came home. This is something common to plenty of sexual deviancies, it takes time to become obvious.
For good or bad porn drives internet technology. This was especially true in the beginning.
Oh, I don't know, perhaps a little four-letter world called "love."
You can't take an edge case (e.g., "married man would rather do himself while watching porn than be done by his wife") and pass it off as the norm, because what you're really doing is giving an example of a really bad marriage between two people who would probably have intimacy issues even if porn never existed. Now I'm not here to suggest that porn is wonderful, but rather to suggest that in the realm of this subject, maybe you're acting the part of the "gun grabber" who suggests that the "gun" is the evil thing that must be forbidden for the sake of humanity.

Do all men have it in them to become sexual deviants? Just add a sprinkling of porno, and in no time, you're going to get yourself a pederast and/or a murderer?
Several years ago a partner of mine and I would go to storage locker auctions and buy delinquent units, inevitably most contained porno collections, usually VCR tapes.
When we held our sales events they were all kept behind the counter, out of site.
You would be shocked at the number of women that would ask if we had any porn for sale with absolutely no abashedness.
It is indeed a two way street. It's not just men in those films.
I'd probably never get married but this is the typically story from nearly all of my married friends. At least the friends whose wives let them off the leash long enough to speak about it.
Too many women don't even know what they want and are constantly unhappy under any circumstances.
-If you stand up for yourself each time, you “don't listen”. If you do everything she wants, you're a “doormat”.
-If you work very hard and have a busy personal life, you are “abandoning”. If you try to spend too much time together you “need more time apart”.
-If you make much more than her and are generous you are “trying to bribe her”. If you make less, you are a “bum”.
I could go on and on. And if they finally get the right combination one day and get their wives into the sack, they usually realize it wasn't even worth the effort in the first place. Too many women put as little effort as possible into sex and abandon trying anything new.
It's much easier and usually more satisfying for them to pop in a movie that shows exactly what they want(and never will get) or get a prostitute.
I'm not saying everyone is like that but the risk is too high. Many of my friends’ wives were completely different people before the wedding. As for me, I don't believe that I will ever meet someone that I would marry. I'll stick to girlfriends however long it works out for.
