Nine thousand Nazi war criminals fled to South America after the Second World War, it has been revealed for the first time.
After receiving tip-offs, German prosecutors were recently granted access to secret files in Brazil and Chile that confirmed the true number of Third Reich immigrants.
According to the documents, an estimated 9,000 war criminals escaped to South America, including Croatians, Ukrainians, Russians and other western Europeans who aided the Nazi murder machine.
Most, perhaps as many as 5,000, went to Argentina; between 1,500 and 2,000 are thought to have made it to Brazil; around 500 to 1,000 to Chile; and the rest to Paraguay and Uruguay.
These numbers do not include several hundred more who fled to the safety of right-wing regimes in the Middle East.
Previous estimates as to how many Nazis fled to South America have varied wildly from 5,000 to 300,000.
The files also showed that during the war Argentine President General Juan Peron sold 10,000 blank Argentine passports to ODESSA – the organisation set up to protect former SS men in the event of defeat.

He said: 'These documents provide the hottest leads we have had for years.'
Mr Schrimm said a female historian provided the clues about the Nazis who got away, who included Holocaust mastermind Adolf Eichmann, Auschwitz doctor Josef Mengele and Treblinka death camp commander Franz Stangl

The Communists are responsible for more murders than the Nazis, and a large number of Communists with blood on their hands are still walking around. For some reason, nobody shows much interest in hunting them down.
I truly doubt that the vast majority of these people were war criminals. Yet that didn’t mean that there weren’t a lot of people that wanted to kill them.
For example, anyone who had been in the SS, not just the genocidal General SS, but also the combat Waffen SS, would be killed on the spot by either the Russians or the Americans, but the French were willing to draft them into the French Foreign Legion. So even entire Waffen SS battalions ended up wearing French uniforms and fighting in French Indochina, aka Vietnam.
Germany was also devastated at the end of the war, so many emigrated just to get out of there. And South America was a preferred location, as many Germans had migrated there around World War I, and there was a large and prosperous German community.
It should also be noted that many German POWs interred in the US during the war liked what they had seen, and wanted to emigrate to the US as well, and did.
But some, like Eichmann, were. And the Argies gave him a lot of help.

The link states between 3000 and 30,000, but more importantly, it fails to mention how many real neo-nazis are likely to exist 70 years later.
Taking the low figure as a start, the number can easily be 50,000 of the little darlings today.

I have yet to see a single list, secret or otherwise, of Communist War Criminals from during WWII and up to today. Perhaps the Kommisars are politically protected as they are the cadre teaching political indoctrination and butchery to the current agents in Western governments.
I knew one such Nazi. He was a dentist who, by the way, operated on Actor Dustin Hoffman.

I had a retired U.S. Marine friend who did join up after his release here in the states. He was a German infantryman during WWII and saw action in Russia during Operation Barbarossa. His prior cold weather training saved many lives up near the Chosin Reservoir.

In the whole scheme of things, the Soviets (especially under Stalin) killed tens of millions more people than Hitler ever did. Somehow, the Soviets got away with it. Even nowadays in history textbooks.
After the war, the Soviets used Buchenwald as a Concentration Camp of their own.

I think Poland has tried going after some of them. Recently hungarians passed some laws stating that communism is a criminal enterprise and revoked statutes of limitations for communist crimes. The new conservative hungarian constitution is worth reading.
Much more could be done worldwide, of course. The crimes of communists are so numerous and so appalling (think Katyn) that it boggles the mind. Whole nations enslaved by criminal gangs, economies bled dry, tens of millions imprisoned, slave labour, deportation of entire nationalities, dynamiting of thousands of churches, (muslims would be happy here) incredible oppression of conscience and corruption of generations... boggles the mind.
