'Fringe' Ratings By City For 200 TV Markets In A Map!

We've recently made the acquaintance of the friendly and helpful folks at Rentrak, who some readers may know as Nielsen competitors in the TV viewing measurement business.

There may be different ratings information we get from them going forward, but one thing we can get, and that I thought might be interesting is to look at are the relative ratings for different TV shows in different TV markets.

The first show I asked for geographic ratings for was Fringe, a TVBTN reader favorite (and anti-favorite).

I'm not surprised at this, big. After all, there is a lot of Fringe Science... in cheese eating on the scale they do it up there--

And the ratings should go even higher as there is not a lot to do up in Green Bay... after last Sunday's disaster.

I’m curious how many times Anna Torv has to dye/re-dye her hair for the different episodes. Seems to me that they either have a twin/body-double or they’ve filmed numerous episodes/seasons back-to-back-to-back to ensure the right hair color is there. Or maybe they’re using digital magic?

FWIW, there are no indications as to how the hair issue is rectified on IMDB and numerous other blogs I read for Fringe.

Good news everybody!

Bender figured out something I couldn't! A wig... of course!

Never realized this show existed ~ missed it since it started.

Found out about it looking at some reruns on the NOW DEFUNCT MEGALOAD and started from the beginning.

WOW! Then we bought DVDs on super deep dish discount sale for ONE, TWO and THREE.

We are now up to date except for last Friday. Daughter in law and son were busy having a baby so we cut out early to go tend to the birth and missed the show.

We coulda' caught it though ~ right there in the delivery suite but SOMEBODY didn't want to turn on the TV.
