I tell lefty acquaintances it is one reason they should vote for conservative candidates. Lower taxes = more jobs = higher tax revenues = more money available for artists and ivory tower professors where they can be put to work pontificating their cockamamie Utopian theories without having the political power to actually implement them where they crash and burn.
Excellent article, although I thought Nietzsche wasn’t anti-Semitic. It was Nietzsche’s sister (who controlled his oeuves after he went insane). She was virulently anti-Semitic. Nietzsche despised his sister for many reasons, this anti-semiticism being one of them.
Promising “pie in the sky” to the masses is an old ruse that still works. Voters should be vetted for a basic knowledge of civics before being allowed to cast ballots.
I read an article where Hitler’s father used to kick him like a dog, when he was a little boy. Hitler’s pathology dates back to inhumane treatment by his parents when he is probably too little to understand. Otherwise, he would have easily accepted his failure in one area and concentrated on his talents.
If he was treated with love and compassion prior to age four, he would have had the ability to feel empathy for other people. Many parents (especially German and Russian parents prior to 1930’s) were very cruel to young children.
Romanian orphans by age 2 had huge areas (in the empathy/social area of the brain) that were devoid of all neuron build-up which proves the necessity of human love and touch to the development of the brain and the ability to have positive future relationships. Many of the orphans died just because of lack of love and touch.
It depends on who you talk to. Always keep in mind that there are many lovers of Nietzsche who will defend him until the end. Most dictator figures had no real father to teach and train them through the difficulties of life. Boys need real dads. Both Hitler and Stalin were primarily raised by their mothers who could not handle them. In the Old Testament, an orphan in the Hebrew is called ‘fatherless’ not an ‘orphan.’
Hitler hated the Jewish Capitalistic control of the arts scene in Europe. Not only did he learn this from his own experience in Vienna, but also from his favorite musician Richard Wagner, who vehemently blamed the Jews for his own artistic struggles. Hitler’s spiritual, Dietrich Eckhart, followed suit. Hardly anyone knows anything about Eckhart, but he became Hitler’s primary mentor in the early 1920’s before he died. He was an artist and an intellecutal, but hated the Jews.

I was fortunate to have been blessed as a rambunctuous boy in the time frame you noted to have both Russian and German parental influence. My older brother and I got spanked many times for ‘out of bounds’ behavior. When my dad died my mother tried to keep us in bounds with spanking. Neither my brother or I ever doubted our mother’s caring love nor did we ever lose our love for her. I believe my brother and I benefitted very much that our mother knew the old saying “spare the rod and spoil the child”. I know attitudes have since changed, but I don’t believe children such as my brother and me have better character. We were also taught the USA was a great Nation worth fighting for , even dying for in my brothers case.

I thought so, nothing, NADA. Just a typical knee-JERK hatefull attitude toward a group of people you don't even know.
I am 100% German....There is a pdf on parenting styles of the 1800’s and early 1900’s. It is extremely well researched. I will try to find it....I read it a half of year ago.....it was one of the saddest things I have ever read (being a mother of 5 children).
It also talked about how Hitler was kicked like a dog when he was a little boy by his father. It really made me even feel sad for Hitler....
The strict parenting style of the Germans was especially harsh.
