A family came in covered in bedbug bites from infested free furniture they found in an abandoned apartment, said Dr. Joseph Leija, an allergist at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, which is part of the Loyola University Health System. The couple had only taken the wooden headboards and baseboards of the beds not the mattresses because they knew that would be unsanitary as well as a table and chairs.
The bugs were found in the tiny crevices..."

Dr. Leijas top five tips on bedbugs...
I have never experienced bedbugs, but have read that they are infesting many parts of the US now.
Reading your post brings to mind a product that I used when
playing around in the landscape nursery business.
It was a common practice for growers of plants to first cover the plant beds with plastic sheeting, then injecting the covered beds with Methyl Bromide. This chemical kills EVERYTHING, including weed seeds.
After an hour or so, the plant beds are uncovered and the gas dissipates, leaving no residue.
I do not see why an entire room, or house could not be closed off and treated this way.
I just did a search and found this... http://www.champon.com/about/metbromide.htm
Ohhh, I see that it destroys the ozone layer, fifty times worse then CO2....Ohhh the humanity, snif snif.
Anyway, it is worth looking into using it if you have a bedbug problem.
Kinda makes you wonder what zero spreads when he's traveling around the States. LOL
Wouldn't your product be on the same line as flea foggers, sealing off rooms etc.?
I hear Diatomaceous earth works well also. I used it for fleas. Worked fantastic.
“Wouldn’t your product be on the same line as flea foggers, sealing off rooms etc.?”
No, this is much stronger, and a controlled substance.
It comes in the same type can as freon.
The substance is a liquid in pressurized cans, and below 35,or so, degrees. It is a gas as it exits the can.
You would have to have the hose and can valve to use it.\
Like I mentioned, this stuff even kills seeds.
That was the main reason that I used it in my nursery.
Of course, you have to seal off any area where you release it.
I have no idea what size area one can would cover in order to kill bed bugs, but I think one can would treat the area of a bedroom.
Bedbugs are multiplying at a geometric rate in SACTUARY CITIES!!!!
Where’s the story on that? The New York delegation already is infesting Washington DC. And with bedbugs too.
Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand can’t spread their contagion fast enough. They just need to refine their PR efforts.
I saved a link from a thread about this:

Looks like it would work just fine inside.
