H. G. Wells lives today in the person of David Lewis Anderson, PhD. Over a hundred years ago, the proto-science fiction work, "The Time Machine" explored heady subjects of Time travel, post Armageddon societies, and evolutionary genetics when applied along class lines. A more fanciful yet forward thinking and eloquent novel could not be imagined at the time, turn of the Century late Victorian England. Yet science fictions have become reality so often, that to even question the premise is now laughable....

I've never heard of this guy before your thread. ...and am listening to the radio interview. If what he says is correct and he has scientific proof [third generation time warp field generator] of his discoveries then the implications are enormous.
He claims that the unprecedented acquisition of knowledge through his research lab [now disbanded] caused him to go underground; he's rambling on about the ethical responsibilities of this time-control technology. He is calling for complete transparency and democratization of the concepts and technologies he is developing.
One of his business partners is India, who has already built gigantic facilities to warp time.
Who knows? He could be a visionary, a crack-pot or something in between.
All I know is, I have brownies baking in the oven ...................
Y’all been watching Lost?
The best proof that time travel is not possible now and not possible in the future of the human race is that we do not have tourists from the future gawking and taking holographic pictures when historic events take place.
The Earth is moving thru the Universe at 1.3 million miles per hour towards The Great Attractor. If you want to go back in time and be on Earth, you'll have to go at that speed to where the Earth was at that time, and you'll have to be pretty darn precise or you'll be screwed massively.
As far as I can tell, the ‘whistleblowers’ in these articles are not talking about travel ‘forward’ or ‘backward’ in time, but in traveling large distances in an ‘instant’ of time.
I believe they are referring to the possibility of expanding it to include travel forward and backward.
It is difficult to tell since much of their information seems to come out of the STAR TREK NEXT GENERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL.
As is often the case, those who really know, would not tell. Those who would tell, really do not know.
Time travel is easy. Meet me here last Thursday and I'll explain it to you.
you can tell how cheap, easy, and reliable time travel wil lbecome by all those strangers in funny clothes hanging around every historical event...
and all those people who win the lottery based upon seeing the winning numbers before they go back and buy their tickets.
I LOVED THAT MOVIE!
Thanks for the ping.
There was an interesting movie I saw on TV several years ago about time travel, you may be interested in it.
Ben Wilson (Jeff Daniels) is a small-town widower haunted by his wifes accidental death. When a group of odd travelers check into his country inn, Ben discovers theyre tourists from the future who visit the past to enjoy catastrophic disasters and Bens town is next on this grand tour of devastation. Will anyone believe his bizarre tale? And can he go back to yesterday to save himself and all that he loves from the horrors of tomorrow?
:’) There was a fake story about time travel (it was a real story, but it was about some joker who claimed that time travel will be discovered in the future and we’ve already been given clues by time travel to prepare us for the eventual transformation of our society) in one of the new agey mags back in the 1980s sometime, probably during the first Bush’ administration (because the manager of the bookstore where I read this the story had gone to the same university as VP Quayle, anyway...). One of the amusing ideas was that the Sermon on the Mount was heavily attended, but almost everyone there was a tourist from the future. :’)
do I get to make the first John Titor post on this thread?
Surely this article was writtten by one of the global-warming lunatics.
It could have been the writer’s beat, and when the only tool is a hammer...
;’) I’ve only done this once.
What do you think UFOs and ghosts are?
