Sweet Corn Ice Cream The recipe is a bit interesting as the corn cob is simmered in the milk and cream to infuse it with even more corn flavour. Sounds weird, but people say it tastes really good!!

This reminds me of a story from (I think) “Ball Four” where Jim Bouton tells of going with Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford for ice cream. Whitey insisted on going several miles into New Jersey to the best ice cream place on earth (Jahn’s, I think), that had dozens of flavors. He then ordered vanilla....
