Probably propaganda, is there any evidence this is true?

We need the picture of the Saddam-era lying Iraqi foreign minister?

These are such lies — the US is not about to start torturing a journalist, even a shoe-throwing one.

The Democrats are declaring this guy a hero and are congratulating him on a job well done. Meanwhile, they keep their hands outstreched to president Bush asking him to save their precious union/jobs. This kind of mindless hatred exhibited by the democrats doesn’t lead to anything productive and it certainly doesn’t seem like any kind of “change we can believe in”.

You’re probably right. As for me though, I sincerely hope you’re wrong. I hope this guy is never seen again.

Iraqi information minister The reports of torture by the Americans are true. Our initial assessment is that they will all die. God will roast their stomachs in hell at the hands of Iraqis.

Referring to “Iraqi TV al-Sharqiya “ — which may also be an anti-US TV station. Or is this the TV station that this shoe-throwing “journalist” is working for, the TV station that refused to apologize to President Bush and the US for the incident?

Can’t you see the throngs of people marching on the government buildings with shoes on sticks, like in “Life of Brian?”

The MSM has a story, but it sounds like he was injured while being overpowered and lead away, he was fighting it. But it’s more fun for the America-haters to blame the US.

AFP: Bush’s Iraq assailant has broken arm, ribs: brother

http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jlhvyJGGJNKc83Kvyr0PaQdSEk2Q

“BAGHDAD (AFP) - The Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at US President George W. Bush has a broken arm and ribs after being struck by Iraqi security agents, his brother told AFP on Tuesday.

Durgham Zaidi was unable to say whether his brother Muntazer had sustained the injuries while being overpowered during Sunday’s protest against Bush’s visit or while in custody later.

He said he had been told that his brother was being held by Iraqi forces in the heavily fortified Green Zone compound in central Baghdad where the US embassy and most government offices are housed.

“He has got a broken arm and ribs, and cuts to his eye and arm,” said Durgham.

“He is being held by forces under the command of Muaffaq al-Rubaie,” Iraq’s national security adviser, he added.

Zaidi, 29, a journalist for the private Iraqi television channel Al-Baghdadia, was swiftly overpowered by Iraqi security forces after he threw the shoes at Bush in a gesture seen as the supreme mark of disrespect in the Muslim world.

An AFP journalist said that cuts were visible on his face as he was led away into custody.”

The Democrats are declaring this guy a hero and are congratulating him on a job well done. Meanwhile, they keep their hands outstreched to president Bush asking him to save their precious union/jobs.

Yet Bush gives them everything they want because he's Dem Lite.

1. Foreign policy. Beginning in 2001, he was a wuss about it...on bended knee to the ChiComs when they took our people hostage and refused to return our plane. Promotes illegal immigration because all illegals are just like the ones who raised him in the Bush household or like his Mexican sister-in-law. Sits around doing absolutely nothing as Latin American dictators invite the ChiComs and Russians into our back yards. No balls to even cut off foreign aid (our tax dollars) to those who hate us. Skips along holding hands with Saudi princes...the same family that promotes jihad using petro dollars.

2. Domestic policy. Tax dollars poured down the rat holes of public education, Medicare prescription drugs, bank bailouts, and now the Detroit 3. And let's not forget the TSA boondoggle created under the guise of homeland security. Nothing like getting routinely thoroughly searched at an airport because you're guilty of being a white male dressed in a suit (one of the few groups that can't sue for discrimination) while every person who should be searched gets a free pass because Islam is a religion of peace.

Yes, the Dems are nuts. But what the heck has Bush done in the best interests of this country? Ever. Heck, he even botched the Iraq invasion just like Papa Bush in Gulf War I. Lacks the cojones to finish the job by taking out Iran's government and the terrorists hiding in Pakistan...and the sad thing is, Obama will be worse for the U.S. than Bush.

Why in Hades is every presidential general election in the past 20 years a choice between Dumb and Dumber?

/vent
