Barack Obama seems to know as much about movies as he does foreign policy:

[Obama] did express curiosity about the filming of a chase scene in “North by Northwest,” Alfred Hitchcock’s 1959 classic starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint that included a death-defying scramble over Rushmore’s presidential faces.

“How did they get up there in the first place?” he asked ranger Wesley Jensen.

“They didn’t. It was a movie set,” Jensen told him.

Methinks the park ranger deserves a merit award for not using the word, “duh.” Five Feet of Fury has other Obama questions about the movies:

“How’d they train that shark?”

“Can someone explain the whole ’sled’ thing?”

In addition to recommending Obama visit Iraq, McCain might ask the Messiah to watch The Killing Fields (1984) on the flight back.

2: A lady from the east coast accosted my wife demanding to see a dangeroo on the Custer State Park wildlife loop. My (then teenaged) wife looked at her and politely said “What the hell are you talking about?” Old lady from the east coast, “The sign said Buffalo and Dangeroo, I want to see a Dangeroo, dammit.” My wife responded “You read the sign wrong lady. It said Buffalo are Dangerous.”
