Keep in mind the liars on the left use stats which includes up to ages 19 and middle st are gang violence and suicides.
While it illegal to own under the age of 21 in most states, it is legal to "possess" while shooting it. I know that my statement seems to be splitting hairs, but in this day of age you have to be very clear or it gets challenged, slapped and beat about the face and shoulders. I started my kids shooting when they were four, but the guns were never in their possession unless we were at the range. But from a legal standpoint they were in possession of a firearm while at the range.
Their was a 15-year old child that was found dead in a driveway in Florida. Shot to death.
Later investigations revealed that the child was a gang member and tried to rob a drug-dealing woman at gun point. The woman used her gun (which she had just bought illegally from an older gang member) to defend herself.
Of course she tried to cover up the shooting, even though she legally defended herself. The possession of a gun while a felon (stupid law), drug possession, possession of stolen property (the gun) and other charges will apply to the woman.
The older gang member (sold the gun to the woman) and accomplice with the kid will be charged with murder of the kid.
I think you are right. At least that was the premise I used with my children. They started shooting when they were seven and eight years old, mostly with .22 handguns. They regularly received handguns and rifles as gifts as the got bigger and were able to handle those weapons, but they were unable to purchase any of those as a minor. They never went shooting or hunting without an adult.
There’s an opportunity for the left: they can count that as three homicides.
In what state is it legal for someone under 17 to own a handgun?
why not put your efforts into targeting and identifing those who are most suseptable to suicidal tendancies?
Back when I was a kid growing up in a small Midwest town in the 1960s high schoolers often had shotguns and rifles in their car for hunting. A good friend of mine had a 22 pistol in the glove box of his car. There never was a problem nor did we even hear about school shootings.
What changed is the society. Now we have 12 and 13 year olds brandishing pistols and doing carjackings and thugs robbing convenience stores for candy and pocket change while beating the clerk to a pulp. The young punks have little fear of being apprehended let alone being seriously punished for their actions if they are arrested. BLM and Antifa rioters burned and looted parts of Minneapolis and not one has ever been tried or convicted on state charges for those riots. However if you are associated with some conservative group, had the audacity to publicly pray in front of an abortion clinic or objected to the LGBQ etc agenda being taught in the schools, then you can expect a SWAT team to raid your home and cart you off to jail on phony charges. In our corrupt leftist society the criminals go un punished while the law abiding are being persecuted and arrested for not agreeing to the Marxist agenda. We would do well to remember what happened in France in 1789.
Well? It is for the children, so that trumps every other alternative. Besides, suicide with a gun is so messy and lowers home values.
The liars on the left are never far from my thoughts.
