Bestiality is the activity of humans having sex with other animals.

It is legal in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, Russia, Finland, Hungary, Turkey and Romania, and illegal in most other countries.

Here’s a map for European countries:

As clearly observable on the map, bestiality is still legal in Finland (a nice glowing GREEN color). And that fact doesn’t surprise me at all.

It seems that the beautiful SANNA MARIN (yes, she is pretty hot!) is more at music festivals and partying (with drugs? and alcool) instead of leading the country (… And when she takes decisions, they are totally non-sense, i.e. NATO).

This might mean that the cost of maintaining someone in prison is not worth the perceived benefit of punishing them for their activity. Everything in life is a tradeoff. You want more muscles you trade time doing something else for time spent in the gym. You want a fancy car, you trade spending less on something else, housing, food, entertainment, etc. Governments and legal systems make the same types of tradeoffs.

For the cost of keeping one person in a US federal prison would send a student through college for anywhere from one to four years. Depending on the prison and the school.

I seem to remember one of the NW States, Washington? Until not very long ago bestiality was not a crime.

A few years back Utah took bestiality off their list of crimes. I think it was more because they were embarrassed at the suggestion that any Utahn would even consider committing such an offense rather than an endorsement of such vile behavior.
