So there are other uses for reindeer. THey are big and warm in cold winters. May husband who grew up in a small mid West town once was crossing a field and discovered a teen friend with a goat. The friend said, “If you ever tell anyone, I’ll kill you.” I knew a young man who used to tell me his troubles, before he died of AIDS, that his brother would use the family dog to rape my friend. The brother would lock the two of them in the car trunk when they were linked together. The mother was an oblivious alcoholic.
Well, it is legally classified as “animal maltreatment”. But it is still punishable by fine or imprisonment.
