John Lennon's 'Imagine' Rereleased With More Realistic Description Of Communism

UK—Have you ever tried to imagine living in a perfect world ruled by communism, but previously only received the information from catchy folk songs which praise the system? Well, lucky for you, it is now easier than ever to understand what a full-blown communist utopia actually looks like.

That's because John Lennon's commie classic "Imagine" has been rereleased with more realistic lyrics to reflect the harsh realities of communism. Lennon, long dead---though not by way of communism, since he was blessed to live in a capitalist country---would be proud of the change, due to its artistic value in realism.

They say towards the end of his life, John has grown to admire Ronald Reagan. Still and all, I firmly believe John would have loved Obummer and hated President Trump. Regardless, I like his post-Imagine work—Double Fantasy in particular.

This is ironic because Lennon wrote “Revolution” which has strongly anti-revolutionary lyrics. He caught a lot of flak for it and let himself be whipped farther left.

I first heard "Imagine" in early 1972 and it immediately struck me that it was the Communist Manifesto set to music. I didn't know who recorded it--I was in Hamburg, Germany at the time and the DJ on the German station didn't back-announce what he was playing, but I wasn't too surprised when I learned later that it was John Lennon.
