nothing to die for? mess wi my family and yer a dead man...
Imagine there’s no bread
It’s easy if you try
No tacos or hot sauce,
Nothing cold or fried,
Imagine all the people living in the gulags
Imagine there’s no money
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to eat or drink
And no bacon too
Imagine all the people living short life spans ooooh
You may say I’m a commie
But I’m not the only one
And someday you will join us
Or we’ll shoot you in the face
Imagine no possessions
Because all your stuff was redistributed
Lots of greed and hunger
But seriously please can I have a potato
Imagine all the people sharing all your stuff, yeah
You may say I’m a commie
But I’m not the only one
Did you say you don’t like that?
Then it’s the gulag for you, son
He got it right the first time with “Revolution.”
They say towards the end of his life, John has grown to admire Ronald Reagan. Still and all, I firmly believe John would have loved Obummer and hated President Trump. Regardless, I like his post-Imagine workDouble Fantasy in particular.
Lennon himself didn’t believe that tripe. He was just pandering.
This is ironic because Lennon wrote “Revolution” which has strongly anti-revolutionary lyrics. He caught a lot of flak for it and let himself be whipped farther left.
Satire or not, these alternative lyrics are accurate.
All your stuff are belong to us.
The original is the sales pitch for idiots, the update is the reality the idiots deserve if they get their way.
Here an anti-atheistic one, from a few years back:
Imagine, oh John Lennon
What happens when you die
If there's no hell or heaven
Nothing above but sky.
Imagine all the people
Living without hope.
Some folks say you're a dreamer
I know I'm not the only one.
Too bad you can't join us.
'Cause where you are (now)
Can't be that fun.

Official theme song of the Bernie campaign?
To John Lennon:
imagine your not here. Dead on a street. Burning in hell with all the other godless communists. Imagine a psycho with a gun creeping up behind you, imagine spitting at Salvation as the bullet flies. Imagine eternal damnation the pain of knowing that God is real and you forsake him for hippy commie beliefs. Imagine the love you could have had for eternity. Imagine....
I don’t believe Imagine was about communism.
