You can answer the poll at https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2017/12/18/false-accusation-of-rape/
A false accusation of rape can cost an innocent person their education, their job, and their reputation. It can force them to spend years in prison. It can ruin their life.
In addition, every false accusation of rape potentially gives ammunition to people who might want to falsely argue that other accusations or rape ones in which a rape really did take place are false.
Its also a waste of the taxpayers money.

“The penalty should be the same as that for Pimps who
make up phony polls to scam hits for their cheesy blogs.”
Let’s get Gunner’s take on this.
They should be registered as sex offenders just like their vicitim will be viewed for the rest of his life, even after found not guilty.
There was a reason that False Witness made the top ten of the Commandments. It is highly destructive, and negates reality.
And then give them 20, just to make the point.
Life.
Same as for the crime the perjurer falsely accused another of.
“5-10 years
And then give them 20, just to make the point. “
After their caning.
3 Days in the general population in a men’s state prison....
Then there won’t be any FALSE allegations....
The penalties for filing a false police report on any crime should be stiff. Not only does it harm the one falsely accused, but it harms those who are victimized legitimately.
There’s more to this question than people seem to think.
1. The penalty should not be so severe that a false accuser won’t admit to the false accusation.
2. The penalty should not be so severe that an actual victim hesitates to come forward out of fear of the penalty if the system decides the accusation is false, even though it isn’t.
3. How is an accusation determined to be false? If the accuser admits it that’s one thing, if it has to be proven, that’s something else.
4. What if the victim believes the accusation but is mistaken about the identity of the accused?
5. If the accused is determined to be not guilty, is the accuser automatically assumed to be guilty of false accusation?
6. I don’t doubt the existence of follow on questions I haven’t thought of.
Interesting Cell phone is missing this post. All the rest are their. On my PC not Cell.
Perhaps we could do the next best thing.
We could simply "OUT" him and let FR know what kind of people we have pimping here.
For example, did you know that grundle (aka "The Gooch") is in favor of:
Same Sex Marriage
Abortion and Euthanasia
Universal Health Care
Recreational Drug Use
And that he voted for Gary ("What's Aleppo?") Johnson?

But what do you expect from somebody who names himself after his own taint?
Or for filthy MSM whores engaging in a catfight on the forum streetcorners while dripping their intellectual gonorrhea all over the place.
Take your scummy territory quarrel to the PMs.
Normal posters don’t care to see it.
No.
Now what?
Agree.
I really didn’t expect a whore to clean up without rehab.
Exactly!
That’s easy - the same as the accused would have gotten if it had been true.
The bible is crystal clear on this. The penalty is exactly the same as being convicted of rape.
