Liberals Politicize Everything, Especially Sexual Harassment

We now have so many sexual harassment charges popping up against Democrat officeholders and Democrat supporters in Hollywood that it is impossible to keep up with. The fake news media is myopically focused on the allegations against Republican senate candidate Roy Moore, but he is without question the exception to the emerging rule that sexual harassment of women, much like voter fraud, is almost solely the province of liberal Democrats.

What is it in the liberal male mind that makes them think it’s OK to abuse women? Do they think that, because they support “women’s issues” like abortion on demand that that somehow gives them a get out of jail free card when they try to force themselves on the nearest person wearing a skirt?

Well, maybe they do. What is it about the liberal women who enable this kind of behavior in liberal men? Hillary Clinton has spent decades handling her husband’s myriad “bimbo eruptions”, brutally attacking any woman who charged him with abuse. When the Monica Lewinsky scandal erupted, Gloria Steinem famously penned a NY Times op/ed piece in support of the abuser, not of the women who wanted to be believed. Why? Because, as Steinem admitted directly in her piece, Clinton was “right” on the issues.

That was 20 years ago, but this enabling behavior continues in liberal women today. Over this past weekend, we had the spectacle of the liberal nitwit celebrity Lena Dunham, who has spent the last decade shrieking (she always seems to be shrieking) that women who accuse men of this behavior must be believed, writing a letter in support of the man, when a writer for her TV show happened to be the one accused of harassment. See, the woman must be believed, unless the woman is accusing someone Lena Dunham likes.

“Liberalism” is best defined as cynicism toward society, with concomitant naiveté towards government.

As several of my female friends pointed out a few years ago, much of the male support for bra-burning was about freeing breasts, not women’s rights. “You go baby!”

It was largely about promoting behavior that made women more vulnerable and physically accessible.

Paradoxically the more accusers that claim Moore groped them 40 years ago, the less likely the claim becomes that it happened to all of them. The probability of a women saying nothing for 40 years before speaking is a small number. Call it ‘x’. The probability of all claims being true is x to the power of n where n equals the number of accusers. If x was 10% then for 9 accusers the chance of all of them being truthful is one out of a billion. If x is 1 % then the probability goes to one out of a billion billion of all claims being true.

They deliberately and intentionally defended clinton when he sexually harassed monica in his office while working for us. Not one damned one of them called it sexual harassment. They all rushed to defend him and said that it was nothing.

But when a male ceo says “you look nice” to a woman, he is fired.

I believe it is the (baseless) superiority complex that forms the foundation of much of the liberal world-view. Now, I know this sounds like high comedy but it appears liberals actually think they are more intelligent than us deplorables; better informed; kinder; more accepting... In short, God's gift to humanity.

Aside from that viewpoint being laughably incorrect - in fact demonstrably just the opposite of truth & reality - it has some other disturbing, less humorous side effects. One of those is a sense of entitlement, of "I know best, so you should accede to my demands." Which of course some men - many liberal men apparently - take too far.

You know, it would be hard to say which group is currently more dangerous to genuine freedom and liberty: modern-day liberalism or islam.
