Trump Supporters: Are We All “White Nationalists” Now? (Vanity)

The allocation of culpability for the violence that resulted in the tragic death of Heather Heyer at a protest/counter-protest rally in Charlottesville, VA by the media last week really should not have come as a surprise.

In the case of Republicans, the news-cycle will consisted of the following phases: If the violence is perpetrated by a hate group(s) whose members are racists, anti-Semites, and white supremacists, first, implicitly tie the Republican Party and its leaders (or if it is President Trump, explicitly) to the offending hate group; secondly, insist he or she publicly renounce the group; third, if the Republican response is not adequate for those in the media, make the claim that the Republican member must tacitly support the views of the fore mentioned hate group.

Finally, make said claim of racism repeatedly over the airwaves for days, and in many cases exaggerate and twist the Republican member’s words or omissions to such an outrageous degree, that in the minds of the media itself and its viewers it becomes a “fact” to be cited in perpetuity for when another member(s) of a hate group commits an act of violence, or when the next presidential election is at hand. The goal is to advance the narrative that the GOP persistently has a “race problem;” with the ultimate objective being: to make certain that minority groups, especially African Americans vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic candidate.

However, after the Charlottesville tragedy, there are ancillary goals, besides identity politics, those in the media wish to achieve: association the term “White Nationalist” to Trump rally members and other conservative organizations. The media’s objective is two-fold: (1) to suppress Trump rally attendance and conservative gatherings, as potential participants do not want to be labeled as White Nationalists and (2) to justify any violence that may occur against attendees at the hands of left-wing hate groups who roll up at Trump and other conservative rallies.

According to Wikipedia, “White nationalism” “is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism which holds the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white national identity.” White Nationalism, defined in this context, would make the average reader conclude it was just another term to describe a White Supremacist. However, in truth, since Trump began running for the presidency, the media have bastardized the term’s original definition in order to attach it to white, Christian, patriotic Americans who believe the United States should enforce its immigration laws and protect its borders. In short: Trump supporters.

The term is now so commonly used by the media (without any push back from Republicans), some may find it difficult to differentiate between it and White Supremacy—which is the media’s intended purpose: to make the two terms almost interchangeable (not unlike how global warming morphed into climate change). By describing participants attending Trump rallies as White Nationalists, it will most definitely invite protestors, most belonging to Antifar and Black Lives Matter (BLM) groups, which will at some point result in violence. When Antifa and BLM have committed prior bad acts such as the beating of Trump supporters at rallies; the destruction of property on America’s streets and college campuses; the assaults on and killing of police officers; and the attempted assassination of elected Republican members of Congress by James Hodgkinson, the media portrayed those as isolated instances that were committed by a few bad actors or a lone wolf. Rarely, if ever, were the perpetrators of the violence associated with a particular group or party by the media.

Moreover, with the exception of Hodgkinson, no elected Democratic was ever called upon to condemn the violent acts or the groups to which they were affiliated. When Democrats did go on television to admonish Hodgkinson, they were quick to say there was blame on both sides.

However, now that the media and both political parties have determined that violence is acceptable by the group of protesters/counter-protestors who is judged to be morally superior, it will be interesting to witness, if the supporters at Trump rallies, who have no affiliation with hate groups, clash with members associated with Anitifa or BLM, are held to be blameless and the pro-communist racist groups on the left finally be held in contempt, as they should have been long ago. Are not law-abiding, family-orientated, hardworking American citizens who exhibit no racial or religious animosity toward their fellow human-beings a slight better than groups whose memberships include pro-communist anarchists who have shown a propensity to commit violence and those groups who despise and publicly call for the death of law enforcement personnel? On a side note: did not the communist ideology and its defenders murder more people than capitalism (or fascism for that matter)?

Moreover, will leaders of the Democrat Party be made to go on television to denounce these leftist hate groups, or at the very least stop funding and publicly supporting them? Will the U.S. Senate’s designated drama queen, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, hurriedly sashay his way to the nearest CNN reporter and admonish these groups for assaulting his fellow Republicans, as quickly as he was to denounce not only the hate groups, but his party’s own president for the violence in Charlottesville?

Or, has the die been cast after Charlottesville, and the new politically-correct paradigm is that all organizations associated with conservative causes and/or Trump supporters who the media defines as “White Nationalist” are fair game, worthy of ridicule and assault by the “altruistic” Antifar and BLM members? Will our elected members of the Republican Party and other conservatives, who rarely fight back when their fellow members get tagged as racists, call out the media for defining Trump supporters as “White Nationalists” before the entire Republican Party is referred to as the same?

Don’t think the latter could not happen and sooner than you think in today’s growing racial and anti-American climate? Who would have thought two short weeks ago that there would be serious effort to rid the nation of every artifact of the Old Confederacy, and the monuments built to honor our two most significant founding fathers: George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

If you want to protect borders = white nationalist.

Don’t want to give everything you own to BLM = white nationalist.

Didn’t vote for Obama twice = white nationalist.

Voted for Trump = Nazi.

They’re making an attempt to polarize and isolate. Instead it’s backfiring.

Democrats are now the party of Antifa - communist rioters and BLM - anti-police murderers.

Going back to the 1960s when conservatives were called Nazis for supporting law and order, the label of racist has been a club Democrats have used to beat Republicans into submission. If you’re for border control, you’re a racist. If you oppose affirmative action, you’re a racist. If you want greater opposition to radical Islam, you’re a racist. If you don’t believe there’s institutionalized racism in America, you’re a racist.
Basically, if you don’t agree with Democrats, you’re a racist.

They’re trying to equate the typical Trump (American actually) voter to being Nazis. Redefine the middle position in America as far left. MSM and the Leftists constantly want to do this and are usually successful.

White Separatists (form their own nation) is really what someone like Richard Spencer would be and he admits this.

When did nationalism become a bad thing? We fought two world wars to preserve our nation and the national borders of our allies. That wrong?

This is a globalist agenda item - erode faith and respect for your own nation (tear down Washington and Jefferson) and replace it with globalism. One world government... and we know how that ends.

The problem is that our “dear” lefties have been playing the minorities against the whole, out of hate.

The result is a caricatured polarization. And it’s stupid. And it’s silly. And it’s destructive. And God hates it.

After they put Milo, Miller and Cernovich on the Nazi list, I strangely felt much, much better about being a “nazi”.

Yes, we are all “white nationalists” now.

Well said.

You might consider making this your tagline:

Democrats are now the party of Antifa - communist rioters and BLM - anti-police murderers.

Constantly trying to pigeon hole us. Who cares. If they want to call me a white nationalist, so be it. Especially since my family is from Mexico.

Almost like, if this be “Nazi,” let us make the most of it.

WWII era Nazis were crazy, destructive power mongers for power’s own sake. But our rightful desire is to unite in the peaceful but no nonsense power of God.

It’s a loaded term, and we had best stay away from it. Neo-Nazis, the KKK, Stormfront, etc., identify what they believe as white nationalism which, in their understanding, means a nation of whites only. Now, they may very well have hijacked the term and changed it from its original meaning, as per your example from Wikipedia. I don’t know. But it seems that they own the term now, the term is associated with them now, and it is in the interests of the left, the media, the Swampdwellers, and the Never-Trumpers, to make the term stick on the pro-American, pro-western civilization nationalism promoted by Donald Trump and supported by his followers.

Want to do something about it?

Formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization
Created by M.A. on August 17, 2017
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/formally-recognize-antifa-terrorist-organization-0

“226,057 signed”

It’s easy. It only needs your name and your e-mail address to confirm with a reply that you agree (and to confirm that you are not outside of the States).

But what we need more, is for people like you to forward the news and Petition link to as many news sites, discussion boards (forums) and other sites as possible. That would help the most! Sending the news and link to foreign news sites like U.K. news sites would be fine, because many Americans also read those. And that way, even more Brits will urge American friends, fans and family to sign!

Thanks!

The Democrats support the people that throw Jars of Urine (Hazardous Waste) at the Police. Remind them on Earth Day.

I heard they also fling Poo like Chimpanzees do, but I can’t verify it.

President Trump should sic the EPA on Antifa.

I want to agree with you on this; I really do but the Meriam Dictionary and Wikipedia both disagree.

Yes, I know anyone can change Wikipedia, and someone on the left probably did. I'm not sure this is a battle we can win since they are saying White Supremacists are a sub group of White Nationalists.

I was confused about this so I did some research over the weekend. To my understanding a 'Nationalist' is basically a Patriot who loves/believes in their country so to my logic a 'White Nationalist' would simply be a white Patriot rather than say a black Patriot or brown Patriot but it doesn't work that way. I wish it did because it would make more sense if it did.

It's like the phrase alt-right. WTF is that? The left made it up and now we are stuck with it meaning extreme far right up to and including neo-Nazis. I don't like them making up words to describe us. That should be something we do.

Unless we got help with the conservative sites to simultaneously push back on this moniker; I'm afraid we may be stuck with it for now. Pay back is fun though. Let's make up a word that sounds like a common leftist but includes the anarchists, antifa, and BLM among others. Is alt-left already taken?
