There's a knee-jerk liberal presumption that objection to unlimited Muslim immigration is racist.
Within Islam itself, Arabs are presumed to be superior to non-Arabs.
Islam envisions Allah as a slavemaster.
(Christianity teaches that "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.")
Slavery is so institutionalized in Islam, one of the major political historical periods, the Mamluk Caliphate in Egypt, was headed by legal slaves.
The very religion is thoroughly steeped in the tradition of "the peculiar institution" of slavery.
Jules Verne's book Dick Sand, A Captain at Fifteen is a terrific adventure that puts real flesh on the history of Islamic-racist exploitation of Africans' black skin color:
Arabs weren't being sold in the triangular slave trade (Humans, molasses and rum as an older generation learned in school), it was white Muslims selling black Africans.
Jules Verne's horrific description in Dick Sand, of a slave too ill to continue traveling in a forced march, beaten to death by an enraged Muslim slavemaster, was personally witnessed by St. Josephine Bakhita on her own forced march at the hands of a Muslim slavemaster:

Leftist attempts to link caution at unlimited Muslim immigration to America's own shameful slave history bounce off and shatter on the ground.
Leftists should look at their own racist inclinations, such as equating as racism, itself, to any criticism of population-control targeting of African-Americans.

According to reports, Muslims still have slaves and continue to enslave folks in areas they take over.
And even in the U.S. you occasionally have reports of women who were lured to work as housekeepers who were turned into virtual slaves.
I had some other business on my plate this morning, but this article wiped all that other stuff out. At this time, I don’t know if that’s good or not.
