Here are some facts that bear on the mess in Baltimore: Democrats don’t have any idea about how to actually govern; and Cops, especially the cops who work on the streets, are smarter and more honorable than politicians delude themselves into believing.
These facts are colliding in Baltimore and the cops are wining. The Democrats and their media puppets are shocked that arrests are down and murders are up especially in West Baltimore where the fake crimes against the “innocent” Freddie Gray are alleged to have happened. This is quite understandable since neither of these groups lives in the real world. Both live in a liberal construct designed to help Democrats get elected and re-elected. What actually happens on the streets is a mystery to the self-important left; but it is very clear to Baltimore’s cops.
The Democrats and the media have fooled themselves into believing – or at least saying they believe – cops actually go out looking for innocent people to shoot and falsely arrest. Because they buy into this foolishness they cheered the vicious, racist (to Black liberal Democrats even Black cops are “white” by association) City Attorney’s indictment of the Police Department. Immediately after this spouting of hatred, innocent people became prisoners in their own homes. They don’t dare go out because the overwhelming majority of cops are now doing little more than planning how to get through their tour without being arrested or attacked by a mob.

I don’t think it is proper to blame the violence in Baltimore on the cops.
Street thugs killing the people because they know they can get away with it. If caught, they just have to cry racism and they’re safe.
Baltimore has proven more policing = less crime and less policing = more crime.
Yet I grew up (50’s)in a white poor midwest town with few cops and little crime. I now live in a lily white gated community with no policing and no crime.
So, while policing has an affect, the real question is why is Baltimore’s residents are so violent?
I also wonder if the black, dem controlled people of Baltimore are capable of self-rule?

That's what I was thinking when I read the article. I don't think Baltimore PD Officers think that this is a game. They are certainly not to blame for the thug violence occurring.
Let Baltimore burn. Sucks for businesses in Inner Harbor and Orioles and Ravens though.

yup, i live in a fairly poor, rural area of the boondocks and until i goto town i can go up to a week sometimes without ever seeing a cop...

This morning FoxNews had a report that people in NYC were wanting the mayor to reinstall random street searches because there is apparently a new crime wave.
‘Officials’ said it was gang-related but offered no solutions.
Same here, although it’s a mix of everything from run-down single widespread to some pretty nice places. Next to no crime, we see the sheriff and the ISP from time to time.
Nearest potential black thug population is 50 miles away in Spokane. They probably know that there are neighborhood unwelcoming comittee with fabulous prizes to award.

I live in the South side of Cypress, California and it has been weeks since I have seen a police car come through the neighborhood. Maybe they come through in the middle of the night when I am sleeping? Anyways the crime rate is very low in our area and I am sure they are putting their resources into other parts of the city.

I heard on a local radio show that the Nation of Islam has negotiated a cease fire between the Crips and Bloods and instead of shooting each other they’re going to go after the cops.
