Having lived through this two years ago in Michigan, I can tell you the insanity Wisconsin is in for, but then again the state that dealt with the Democrat fleebagger insanity isnt going to be surprised by too much. Republican leaders in the Wisconsin Legislature have decided to fast-track right-to-work through the legislative process, and Gov. Scott Walker has indicated hes ready to sign it:
--snip--
Some will say Walker is only doing this to burnish his presidential bona fides. To that I would say two things: 1. Its the Legislature thats leading this charge; and 2. If the way a guy wants to position himself to run for president is by doing his existing job effectively, that sounds like a pretty good approach to me.

Not sure what got him to change his mind on this, but whatever it was, it is welcome news for the people of Wisconsin.

You can also take off and nuke the site from orbit. That’s the other way to be sure — but I think Walker is wise to skip this particular approach. ;)

My liberal Cousin in Michigan worked on the campaign to remove Walker from his office in Wisconsin. Let that sink in for a moment. Then consider how they failed.

Yep. College students here in Michigan were circulating petitions for Walker’s recall.
Funny thing was that once they failed they dropped their recall attempt against Snyder in Michigan within 24 hours.

Why on Earth do you say such a terrible thing. Governor Walker is our President Reagan for the Gen X’ers. He is going to do great things for my country The United States of America.

Walker was never opposed to RTW, he only said that it was not high on is agenda and that it would be a “distraction”. IMO he did the right thing and left it up to the legislature to do it’s job. Pass a bill for him to sign into law. That’s the way it’s supposed to work, no?

B.S.
He originally ran from that fight because it was not convenient for his agenda. A real leader would never had done that. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he is doing the right thing now, but Ted Cruz would have never run from that fight like Scott Walker did originally.
Walker told reporters in Milwaukee he understood that legislative leaders could not control every one of their members. However, the governor said right-to-work was not part of his agenda.
As I said before the election and have said repeatedly over the last few years, I just think right-to-work legislation right now, as well as reopening Act 10 to make any other adjustments, would be a distraction from the work that we're trying to do, said Walker.
Walker said his agenda included reforming taxes, education, regulations and entitlements.
While some conservatives have said that a right-to-work law could help the state's economy, Walker downplayed those economic benefits. He said that states with right-to-work laws have other policies that play a larger role in economic growth, like a much lower tax burden in some cases no income tax, other cases much lower a much more favorable regulatory climate, (and) other factors.

He did not want the legislature to do this now, but he dd say if thgey did he’d sign it.
He doesn’t want more controversy on his campaign run.

There was a poll released not long ago that showed nearly 70% of Wisconsin folks favored RTW. That may have had an “influence” on him. Regardless, he will sign it when presented to him. Hopefully, by weeks end. Assuming union “rallies” don’t burn down the Capitol...Tuesday/Wed. should be interesting!

To Walker’s credit, he came into office and started the good fight. He has continued to fight as opposed to one year of reform and then run for president.
