See, German Shepherds really are cat-like!

Agreed, but only partly to be cautious with the dog. The main thing is to train children how to behave with dogs, and this is not good conditioning. That is, if you know your dog is very good and not food-aggressive.

Our Chihuahua gets on its side and stretches all 4 feet out and pushes Mr. GG2 until he’s clinging to the side of the bed. The dog has the entire middle of the bed to itself.

I only got about a 7 or 8. Some answers are completely dependent on the dog. I don’t think of all dogs as equal, not at all. Only 1 dog in my life has been my absolute beloved!

Rarely do I have a post without typos. I’ve learned to live with it in my old age. :)

I've had that all my life. Does that make me an overachiever? (Ping to the typsosmeister.)

Holycow! How much does he weigh? Chainsaw was 6 months old last week and she’s a little less than 4 lbs.

I’m guessing around 85 to 90 pounds now. He looks much like his great-grandfather, who weighed 95 pounds at maturity. Frankie’s growth plates are still open.

Typos follow in my wake, and sometimes precede my arrival.

That was very true of my Golden but she often did flop her 80+ pound long legged body on me to wake me up. She would stretch those legs out and take up most of the full size bed. I would end up with barely enough room not to fall off the bed.

Her other method to wake me up was to stare and I could feel it even when I was in deep sleep.

Lost her 3 years ago on August 31st and still miss her everyday and would gladly have her here to plop herself on me again. Not having her to sleep with me is one of my major sleep issues along with pain but I could usually sleep even in pain when she was here. I also never slept in that bed again and have only gone in that bedroom a few times.

The crazy cat sleeps with me when it is cold. I might let the long hair miniature hotdog sleep with me this winter if they can get along with each other.

#16 is so true - Can’t watch movies where the dog dies.

#20— ha even the dining table - My Golden girl got food off of there several times including unbaked biscuit dough and a birthday cake.
Our chocolate lab had an accomplice in the cat. TC would open the lid of the cookie jar and give them to her. She died in 93 and he followed a few months later. They were buddies. Still miss them both.

Speaking as one of the technologically challenged, how did they capture that? It looks like the camcorder was attached to his tail!?!
