This is THE famous Tiger Attack video!

A tiger attacked forest rangers in Kaziranga National Park, in the north-east of India, in 2004. This is the story of what actually happened that day, including an Interview with forest ranger R. K. Das.

You've seen this video on Google Video ever since Wilderness Films India Ltd. launched its content on the site, in December 2005. Due to widespread compromises to our IPR, we decided to withdraw the video from the internet. We're now back on the internet, with Youtube, and the world now gets to see our viral videos and other compelling content under our 'Visual Mapping of Asia' project.

"The Daily Caller noted that in President Obama’s best-selling memoir, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, the president recalls being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy),” the president wrote. “Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths.

He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”"

I thought I was going to see a tiger attack...what I saw instead was a bunch of slipshod camera shots from different directions and lots of mouth fodder from “those in the know.”

But thanks for the ping, disappointing though it was...

A dog eater in the WH? In this country of dog lovers, that's enough to try him for TREASON.

And he ate SNAKE too. If there were a lower rung my Ladder of Judgment, eating snakes would qualify him for a dark hole three stories under the pavement.

God created such a beautiful and powerful animal. Let them live, Indian people. Humans are a virus to all that lives on this Earth.

I wouldn't, couldn't disagree with you. I first saw the famed tiger attack as a gif (here below much more dramatic than the video could ever be)and reading that it was first posted as a video, went with he video, thinking it would be a much better post. But I was very wrong. The gif is infinitely more dramatic and hope I've made up for it

Yesterday, I posted a YouTube video that had spawned the gif of the tiger attack you see below. For some reason the video was terribly disappointing and I felt that way, too. But had thought the video would be superior to a simple gif. Today, reading a commenter's disappointment totally agreed with him as I've expressed here below. Hopefully you'll all enjoy the gif and never bother to seethe video it originated from. I wouldn't, couldn't disagree with you. I first saw the famed tiger attack as a gif (here below much more dramatic than the video could ever be)and reading that it was first posted as a video, went with he video, thinking it would be a much better post. Here's the original post from yesterday and you can see for yourself the tiger attack that is so dramatically displayed in the gif yet is practically non-existent in the video.

I understand the victim of this attack, ranger Claude Bahls, survived and resting not so comfortably.

In the video, he’s fully conscious, sitting up but bleeding from his arm which he maintained in an elevated position. I assume he survived.
