And from the looks of this, the Democrats who are upset can’t agree on the language of such a delay.

it will be fun to watch the rats vote against a "If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it" bill.

But many incumbent Senate Democrats — even some from conservative-leaning territories — have shown far less favor to the year delay, despite the deeply troubled rollout of the government website intended to help the uninsured buy coverage.

If the RATs don't do it now the GOP 2014 candidates will run on doing it. Not to give ideas to the RATs but the delay will put Obamacare is more precarious position than it is already in.

Republicans should NOT go along with any Democrat plan to delay Obamacare.

If delaying the mandate was a good idea for the GOP in early October it's a good idea now. That pill is still poison to Obamacare.

delaying the mandate was not a good idea then or now. The GOPe lessened and lessened their demands on Obama and that was one of the weaker offers before they totally capitulated.

The choice the Repubs should offer the Dems is repeal it or live with it.

Amen! That's the logical solution but you know how the MSM will spin it.......

Which begs the question, how the hell can the GOP do what's good for the country when no matter what they do, it will be interpreted as obstructionist and screwing the American public?

No mandate and the young people won’t sign up (why do you think the “tax” is part of Obamacare in the first place) that will weaken the system and drive insurers off.

In the great tradition of the former senator from Illinois, the Republicans should all vote ‘present’ on any measure proposing a delay.

“If delaying the mandate was a good idea for the GOP in early October it’s a good idea now. That pill is still poison to Obamacare.”

Delaying it was never a good idea for the GOP. It would let the Dems off the hook in time for the next election. The choices should be repeal it, or make the Dems own it.

The mandate will be delayed by Obama anyway. It is too big a “fairness” club for the GOP to use in the 2014 election. The sooner it is delayed the more damage it will do.

I suspect you’re right. He doesn’t care what the law says, even his own law.

>> Which is why the American people MUST be allowed to experience the full brunt of the excruciating pain of Obamacare, if it's ever to be repealed.

And we must continually remind everyone that 0bamacare is 100% owned by the democrats. They wrote it, they enacted it, they signed it, they developed the regulations to implement it, they selected the contractor to build the website ...

Obamacare is completely, utterly, and in all ways a Democrat Party Disaster.

It absolutely is, but Democrats will use the power of propaganda to deflect blame for their disaster onto Republicans, no matter how untrue or ridiculous it is.

Sadly, many of the lemmings who follow them will believe it without question.

Doesn't matter. We have to keep standing up and telling the truth no matter how loud they scream.
