Anyone else seeing more "liberals" openly supporting communism?

I was at a bar in Chehalis, WA where the conversation was very anti-capitalist. The bartender stated that he was pro-communist. I mentioned the fall of the Berlin Wall and he replied that capitalism was going to fall too. This guy is looking at the current recession as a vindication. The bar owner then jumped in to say that capitalism was everything wrong with the country and that things need to change. I pointed out that being a business owner makes her a capitalist. She then said that politics should not be discussed in a bar and ended the discussion. I did not change their minds, but I made a point that she could not refute. There is some kind of cognitive dissonance going on there.

What I have noticed is that the liberals have been flaunting their Marxism since Obama was elected. Is this a trend in your area?

Not exactly, but I do see the few who were outspoken before becoming increasingly violent in their conversation. The idea, I think, is to goad us into violence and then call down what they are certain is the sympathetic and unstoppable power of the state on their political opponents.

If they were students of history they'd realize where that road has always led before, but then if they were students of history they wouldn't be communists.

Communists are not afraid to come out of the closet and show up their Communist selves anymore..I guess they figured that since their messiah Commie Obama was elected not once but twice, that it shows that this country wants to go full Commie..there is a saying that the only true way that people learn how horrible Communism is is to experience it themselves..Commies love getting free stuff, as long as they are not the ones paying for it, once they have to flip the bill they go berserk

Liberals have been flaunting their Marxism for decades, only most would never dare admit to being communists, even indignantly refuting such an "accusation".

Obama's installation as Marxist-in-chief must have been the tipping point when they felt safe to come out of the closet. Oh definitely...it's impossible to reason with people who are sold on the liberal minded agenda....even when they see the truth in front of them...it makes no difference whatsoever...they do not want to here the truth! Their egos and pride are so off the scale there is no way they can see or care to see what's really happening to this country. What I get most of the time is they stop discussion altogether...they are comfortable living in the matrix Obama and liberals have created for them....and that will one day be fully exposed...but only as "Obamanation" falls.

I think you summed up extremely well what I was thinking. It is not so much the idealogy is changing on the far left but rather they are increasingly emboldened to come out of the closet and use the C word which used to be taboo.

10 yrs ago I debated a key at work which wasn’t afraid to use the C word. These people have been out there and will now try to recruit others.
