DUmmie FUnnies 04-18-13 (DUmmies OPPOSE Venezuela Vote Recount)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | April 18, 2013 | Dummies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 04/18/2013 6:05:16 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

Remember the Liberal mantra following the 2000 and 2004 elections? Recount, Recount, RECOUNT!!! Florida in 2000 went recount crazy to the extent that there was live aerial coverage of a truck delivering ballots to Tallahassee. Of course, what the Left really meant was recounting must continue until a democrat goes into the lead and then all recounting must halt immediately. And since down in Venezuela the leftwing Nicolas Maduro won the presidency narrowly by massive vote fraud, there are demands for a recount. But guess what? DUmmie hypocrisy is on full display in this THREAD, "(Capriles) Venezuelan candidate demands recount (Maduro won)," since in this case the DUmmies are firmly OPPOSED to any recount despite the fact that voting machines in Venezuela also provide a paper printout. But should those paper printouts be checked? ABSOLUTELY NOT according to the DUmmies. So let us now watch DUmmie vote recount HYPOCRISY on full display in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that the Carter Center has been MIA despite arriving in Venezuela last week, is in the [brackets]:

(Capriles) Venezuelan candidate demands recount (Maduro won)

[Since the Bolshevik Red candidate stole the election, then absolutely no need for a recount.]

Denouncing election irregularities, Venezuelan opposition candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski demanded a recount and said early Monday that he will not recognize the country's presidential results "until every vote is counted."

[Good when Algore says that, bad when Capriles says the same.]

The Venezuelan people spoke. Get over it and move on.

[The fraudulent vote results must NOT be questioned.]

The elitist twat loses! Viva Maduro!!!!!

[Y Vivan los hermanos Castro!!!!!]

Respect the vote.

[Translation: NO Recount!]

Hurray for Venezuela! F*ck the fascist.

[And, of course, NO recount.]

Very close election. Congratulations to Maduro.

[Another DUmmie in the NO recount camp.]

What an embarrassment that it was so close. Maduro should have gotten 105% of the vote.

[And you still would have OPPOSED a recount.]

I'll be watching DUers closely as they decry calls for a recount. Even though we wanted a recount in 2004 but Kerry didn't ask for it. Even though we wanted a recount in 2000 but the SCOTUS shot us down. Even though Al Franken won his recount.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

And what's the reasoning for a recount in this case?

[Of course there should be NO recount since that could jeopardize the leftwinger in power.]

Maduro immediately agreed to a 100% recount.

[And Maduro completely did a 100% U-turn on this shortly afterwards.]

LOL, and they're already backtracking:

[Yup! That is exactly what happened. Now the mantra is NO RECOUNT.]

It is mathematically impossible to rig a vote count in Venezuela

[Claims a DUmmie who would be the first to scream "VOTE FRAUD" if an evil Republican wins a presidential election.]

While couponing yesterday, I received a 1964 SILVER quarter in change. It was noticeable because it shined REALLY bright. Looks to be in mint MINT condition. How did that happen? It might be worth as much as fifty bucks. A friend of mine who is into coins will be looking at it.

Since DU dummies, hollywood liberals, the news media, and all democrats love socialism and Chavez so much then why don’t they move to their socialist utopia in Cuba , Venezuela or N. Korea

Nothing new here, it’s standard leftist practice: “recount” until you’re ahead, and then call the results “the will of the people”.

Lots of low-information fools who come into a coin collection simply spend it as spare change.

Those are widely thought to be extinct in the wild but a few scattered specimens still turn up, especially in backward areas. I last came across real silver coinage in circulation about six or seven years ago, in a vending machine in a federal office building I was visiting for meetings.

That was the plan in 2000. Recount Broward county, recount Palm Beach county, recount the non-Cuban sections of Dade county and then declare victory. Oopsie. The Supreme Court said that you have to follow Florida law and the 14th amendment's equal protection clause and recount everyone so you can't cherry pick counties or precincts.

The amazing thing is that the quarter SHINED bright. Real bright. I never had another coin that shined that bright.

I still get them, though rarely. The last one was a Mercury dime a couple years ago. My theory is the grandkids found one of grandpa’s old jars of pocket change (1963-67) in the basement and noticed the contents looked a lot like money, and spent some of it in the 7-11 half an hour before I went in, and their payment became my change.

(My great-grandfather, 1886-1977, dropped any change he found in his pocket into a jam jar at the end of each day. When he died, the granddaughter who lived with him— my mom’s cousin— found ten or a dozen jars in the basement dating back to the early 1920s. Most of the coins— the oldest from the 19-teens— were in excellent or very good condition, having circulated for just a couple of years before “retiring”. She made out quite well.)

“low-information fools”

Little harsh there for someone who might be ignorant to coins and their values, huh?
I bet, if you point to the next two cars you see, I can tell you at least a dozen application differences in the tires that each has, even if they are the same size. Granted, I have been in the tire business 30 years and LITERALLY write application charts for the industry, so does that make the soccer mom driving the vehicle a “low-information fool”?

Bounce the coin on a counter. It will make a wonderful ringing sound as only silver will. Then do the same with a non silver coin. Sounds like tin.

LOL! There were some precincts this past election where Obama got like 107% of the vote. Imagine if it was a Republican that got 107% of the vote. Outrage. A Democrat? Not a peep.

That was the plan in 2000. Recount Broward county, recount Palm Beach county, recount the non-Cuban sections of Dade county and then declare victory.

Then there's the Franken/Gregorie method of "finding" enough votes to go over the top, and then demanding the recounts stop immediately.

A little harsh? Yes, it was in bad taste listing that guy’s name, oh wait he didn’t do that. He mentioned that he found a silver coin in the change he received while couponing.

So, if we can get PJ to tell us the place he got the silver from and what the guy looked like, then maybe, we could then get enraged at M1903A1 for calling the change guy a low information fool.

At the moment the change guy is anonymous, see it’s hard to work up any outrage over this and besides, who cares? I sure don’t. If a guy gave me a hundred dollar bill as change on a ten, I would give it back to him but I never look or count the change, it goes into my pocket and then in my coin jar.

Your analogy is lame as the guy that gave him the quarter; it probably wasn’t his first day at counting out change, yes? When I counted out the day’s receipts at a job over thirty years ago, I looked at every coin to see its type. As well as taking a quick look at the change the customer was giving me when I was on the register. One guy game me a stamp with an upside down airplane on it for its face value. At least I was able to use it as postage.

Not quite the same comparison. Coin collecting is a well known hobby, and if somebody’s got coins set aside in individual holders, or even in a cardboard box in a drawer, as opposed to a change jar...hmm, maybe the person did this for a reason and perhaps they’re worth a look?

I stand by my statement (though maybe “fools” was a bit much) because I’ve seen it happen. Once in a while you’ll see a bunch of vintage coins or dollar bills come into local circulation; I’ve no doubt that, most of the time, somebody inherited or otherwise acquired a coin/bill collection, has no idea what it is and isn’t motivated to investigate (even by going online or to a coin shop), and just spends it like it’s normal money.

I think people reflexively figure that if nothing stands out (i.e. no gold or foreign money), it’s not worth much...when those 1920s silver quarters might actually be worth a few bucks each.

Check with the police if you really want to know its origin. Most likely a burgled home will document a stolen coin collection, burgled by 14 yr olds.

Silver coins,to a 14 yr old (13, 14, 15), are just another vehicle to wealth and fame.

They might be bat-guano crazy Moonbats, but they ain't stupid. Well ... actually they are stupid, but you get the point.
