So far they have punted on every down. Got to stop. Neither of this guy's parents was a citizen at the time of his birth. They were refugees. Cubans. So, how exactly, is he a "natural born Citizen?" What about the offspring of illegal aliens? How can the parents' lawbreaking result in the child's automatic citizenship?
This is a mess and these black-robed bozos are intent on avoiding it with this Puerto Rican deal, which after all is the subject of an interesting treaty, which covers citizenship ... or used to.
If the Court ever does rule on this matter, they will choose the broadest language possible: Born to a U.S. citizen parent (either)somewhere in the world. I don’t think that they consider this clause very relevant and will essentially render it moot. Consider that the Supreme Court has also ignored many other much more critical clauses, especially when they thought it popular to do so.

If you are going to be all into the details re NBC - which is the only way to be about this issue - then you should know that Rubio’s parents were NOT refugees. They came here as immigrants BEFORE the Castro takeover of Cuba in 1959.
Beware of foreign influence! There’s a reason for the requirement to be be a natural born citizen to hold office President. If you weren’t born here, raised here, and lived here, what would someone know what it’s like to be an American? It would be the equivalent of me running to be the president of France! I have no idea what goes on in France, have never been there, and wouldn’t know anything about the culture or values or laws.
