It was at Occidental that Obama was first able to project a charismatic image. ..an image funded via Mohamed Hasan Chandoo's money that financed his big house, clothing, parties and lifestyle. ..an image fueled by an academically inspired vision of being part of a revolutionary elite. Without money, Barak was not able project same charismatic presence at Columbia. Obama learned to seek out the rich wherever he went.

Charismatic? Not a chance.
Only STUPID and DUMB people would be charmed by a poisonous viper. Not me. You can see what he is about with how he walks, talks, how he lives and lies. He's a hypocritical, greedy thug that has no boundaries.
The author needs a proof-reader and an editor. There are a great many spelling and grammatical errors that detract from the message, and call into question its credibility. Perhaps he printed a rough draft?

Dr. John C. Drew, a grant writing consultant in Laguna Niguel, Calif., tells Newsmax he met Obama in 1980 when Obama was a sophomore at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Drew had just graduated from Occidental and was attending graduate school at Cornell University.
During Christmas break, Drew says he was at Grauman-Boss’ home in Palo Alto when Obama came over with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, his roommate from Pakistan.
“Barack [Obama] and Hasan showed up at the house in a BMW, and then we went to a restaurant together,” Drew says. “We had a nice meal, and then we came back to the house and smoked cigarettes and drank and argued politics.”
For the next several hours, they discussed Marxism.
“He [Obama] was arguing a straightforward Marxist-Leninist class-struggle point of view, which anticipated that there would be a revolution of the working class, led by revolutionaries, who would overthrow the capitalist system and institute a new socialist government that would redistribute the wealth,” says Drew, who says he himself was then a Marxist.
“The idea was basically that wealthy people were exploiting others,” Drew says. “That this was the secret of their wealth, that they weren’t paying others enough for their work, and they were using and taking advantage of other people. He was convinced that a revolution would take place, and it would be a good thing.”
Drew concluded that Obama thought of himself as “part of an intelligent, radical vanguard that was leading the way towards this revolution and towards this new society.” ..."
Referring to Obama’s quote from “Dreams of My Father” that he associated with Marxist professors, Drew says, “What he’s not saying is that he was in 100 percent total agreement with those Marxist professors. When you understand that, Obama’s later associations and policies make more sense, including why he was taken in by Rev. Wright’s ideology.”
John Drew is apparently scheduled to be on Steve Malzberg’s radio show tomorrow, Monday, Feb 15, 2010, sometime between 4-6 PM, eastern.

No, it’s news to me...I knew about his friendship with Chandoo and read something about zero staying with the Chandoo family whilst in Pakistan, but that’s all.

There’s another Chandoo brother that was also part of the gang.
They could very well be more buddies that are Palestinian.
Has anyone been able to demonstrate any evidence outside of his own writings, that Soetoro was ever a registered student at Columbia?

You are correct about needing a proof-reader and an editor. In my rush to post, I took a few too many shortcuts. It seemed like an important story that needed to get out. With my job and the kids, I needed to get it out today or wait another week.
I have gone back and edited the entire thing to try and clean up the errors.
It is quite a bit more difficult than one would think to summarize a one hour audio interview. I could probably spend another few hours revising and adding to this part of the post.
Thank you for taking the time to remind me to respect my readers.
