I had the VERY same thought when I saw the headline on Drudge.

Not to say I think this flu thing is a bio attack, I don't, I just want to make the distinction that when it come down to Obama who is merely our idealogical opponent, and those POS's that wire suicide bombs, behead people on the internet, and rejoice when we lose 3,000 civilians in a day... those people would be thrilled to take out Obama, and on any given day I'm standing with our President against them no matter who he is.
People who were 20-30 years of age were disproportionately likely to die from the 1918 flu. My grandmother was 28. She caught it when it hit Washington in October. She was cared for at home, and nearly died, and no one else in the house caught it. She also got the second wave in the early Spring of 1919.
So, watch this flu—Is it killing young adults disproportionately?

Note: Influenza is a RNA virus that is much more difficult to handle and much longer.
From what I have read, including ProMed, the infected person is contagious for 3 days before symptoms appear to 7 days after they appear.
I also recall another anecdote about a man who died a day after his symptoms appeared. Don’t recall the details, but virulent flu can trigger other things, like a heart attack or the lungs can suddenly fill with fluid. It may depend on someone’s general health before being infected.
We all routinely ignore cold and flu symptoms because in the past, they have resolved without mortality.
For the record, I think this is simply a Black Swan and not necessarily an engineered virus. Spring in Mexico is a popular time for inexpensive vacations. This could have started almost anywhere, given air flight, and just happened to be noticed first in Mexico. As for anyone first protecting themselves, just from observation, flu vaccines can commonly trigger the disease itself &/or not necessarily protect someone. My guess is this is because of the mutation rate.
