Having terrible storms this morning. Thunder is rolling and lightning flashing. The wind is fierce.

The thunder here is a little frightening, must be because of all the flat land. Nothing to break up the sound. It rumbled all night, very deep and heavy.. We're supposed to have this all day. So my puting may be in spurts.. ;(

AC/e, that's a terrible Granny link.. Caca-head.. lol

Good morning! We're having plain old rain today, it should last all weekend. Good sleeping weather. ;-) I enjoyed your pics from last night, your home is gorgeous and cozy.

AC, lol at our link today. ;-)

We are having terrible rolling storms.. The canal is to the top and lots of peoples docks and boat lifts are under water. We had to raise our boat up higher.

The pool is to the brim and we are hoping the overfill valve starts working soon.

The canal is three feet over high tide mark even with a full moon, and is riding just under the ledge. We just had lots more rain, so it is probably higher now.
I took lots of pics during a lull and will try to work them up sometime soon..

We can't get reports of the weather as the area is not reporting, but I think this is going right into the night.. We may wake up in the morning swimming in the canal.. lol

Two Manatee went by, as I was down on the dock, but I wasn't quick enough to catch them with the camera.. They seem to be around so maybe one day I'll be lucky..

I have to shut down now again, as the wind is coming up again, and it's thundering.. I don't want to be knocked off again.. This puter suks, but it's all I have at the moment..

Will get back when I can...;)

Gooooooooolly, ACe! Them families pets sure are purdy, and when you tired of them, they can stretch into a week's worth of meals. You have a name for that fine specimen of porcina?

A break in the storms. They have flood warnings up for high tides. I guess until around 3:30 this afternoon..

Thank you AC for the tide charts.. I used them today.. It's a great feature for us, and I love it..

No local news at noon today, so I guess everything is up for grabs.. lol

Will try and do a few more pics when I can dodge the lightning.. ;)

Our dock. Usually a couple feet clearance.

High tide at 1:30.

Carry your snorkel, mask and flippers at all times today...oh, and the camera, so you can get real close to the manatee.

If this doesn't let up soon, you might want to consider building an arc. Maybe you should wear your life preservers around the house today, just in case. ;-0)

Looking south.

Hi Kathy... I will get the life jackets out of the boat. or better yet.. lower the boat and stay in it.. lol It is calm for awhile.. No new weather warnings. The world can go to hell on the weekends, and you'd never know. No local news at all... Just the warnings that disrupt the TV. It's fun tho, and I'm not worried, so don't you be.. Everything is hunky dory... ;) Thunder again.. here we go.. lol

As long as you stay safe, storms can be fun. This is certainly better than snow. ;-) Great pics.
