Is DeSantis being given the Trump treatment?

Bexar County's prosecution-minded sheriff is but a pawn in a much bigger leftist game to drive Gov. Ron DeSantis from higher office.

Just yesterday, Texas sheriff Javier Salazar announced that he is investigating the legality of Gov. Ron DeSantis's flying of illegal migrants to Martha's Vineyard.

Salazar is a Democrat, but, like all Democrats, he insists that his probe has nothing to do with his political affiliation.

Salazar said the following:

Somebody saw fit to come from another state, hunt them down, prey upon them, and then take advantage of their desperate situation just for the sake of political theater, just for the sake of making a statement.

I believe people need to be held accountable for it to the extent possible.

The DeSantis gubernatorial office last week paid an aviation company $615,000 to transport migrants from San Antonio, Texas to Florida and onward to Martha's Vineyard.

Texas governor Greg Abbott was the first to bus migrants from his state to sanctuary cities such as Chicago; New York City; and Washington, D.C. Abbott received acclaim for his move, which was essentially to hold liberal open borders–advocating cities accountable for their stances.

The move was an astute protest against the Biden administration's refusal to protect U.S. borders.

Arizona governor Doug Ducey, and DeSantis, who is running for re-election, joined in.

The New York Times reported that the illegally present Venezuelans have said they made the journey to the United States because they believed that the country's doors are wide open. During his campaign and the primary debates, Biden repeatedly invited to migrants to the U.S., with offers of benefits, such as free health care.

Send Javier Salazar the bill for the cost of all of the illegal immigrants. Use lawfare to destroy the left just like they do to the right.

I’ve said this before I’ll say it again. RDS sticks one piggy to outside of Florida as far as Valdosta HA and they will open up the spigot. Anyone who doesn’t imagine that is simply not paying attention

yes, especially if they think Trump isn’t going to be the nominee.

People forget, they did the same to Reagan, now they try to make it like they respected him but even the Reagan library has headlines from NY Times, WA post and elsewhere saying
extremely negative things on Reagan, war monger, incompetent, racist, thug , lia, on and on

The DC Swamp will oppose and destroy, if possible, any candidate they see that might be a President of, by and for the people.

They already are. And they'll do it to whoever starts looking like a strong (R) contender no matter what.

Every GOP presidential nominee from here on out not named Donald Trump will be affixed by the media with the "More dangerous than Trump!" label, --as is already happening to Ron DeSantis.

Fortunately, DeSantis has shown himself primed and ready to fight back.

Darn the New York Times reports the truth.

Have posted it before but the hypocrisy of the Martha’s Vineyard populace is stunning. The “migrants” were gone to a military base ( can I say prison/compound) within in less than 48 hours.

How that that Texas sheriff legally do that to the governor of a different state. It seems to me that DeSantis, living in Florida, is way out of that county sheriff’s jurisdiction? Obviously just a stunt by a publicity hound politician.

Did you bother actually reading the article?

Here are some highlights:

Hardly a glowing endorsement. Really, a whole bunch of words that say, "Trump, but worse. Trump, but more dangerous."

This Salazar character has more stars on his lapel than Baby Doc!! He is as incompetent as the mayor of our multi racial homogeneous city. He cannot control his jail, Crime has increased with the frequency of drive by shootings, the epidemic of overdoses from a variety of drugs that plague our streets. He constantly requests more funding to what?!!

“ Fortunately, DeSantis has shown himself primed and ready to fight back.”

He’ll be good at it. Already is. But my suburban women friends will be complaining loudly as they do about trump about any manufactured persona the media cooks up about RDS while now they say he’s so great and so much better than trump and so much smarter and bla bla bla

They have no imaginations and they cannot see that they think what the media tells them to think

And they think trump has to fit a persona of a husband, pope and father

He doesn’t. He has to defend and protect the constitution and anything he sees fit to do to perform that

The media will tell them what to think of the horrible future RDS because these women lose sight of that

And RDS could cave. We don’t know that yet. He prob won’t. He might turn out to be great but we don’t know

Re: Texas sheriff opens investigation into DeSantis’ migrant flight to Martha’s Vineyard; MSNBC moron wants DeSantis charged with kidnapping

Many people hae said they like Trump BUT. And what I told you was they were going to do the same thing to Desantis. And they’ll do the same thing to Tom Cotton. The Same thing to Ted Cruz. (The same thing to Rand Paul.) Pompeo and right on down the line. They are not going to stop with Trump so get off that line about I like Trump BUT. There is no but. It is us or them.
