It is possible to clean out D.C.’s deeply corrupt Augean stables

If a conservative Congress paves the way, a crusading president elected in 2024 can clean up our deeply corrupt system if he follows a clear, simple plan.

Beginning in January 2025, if all goes well, we will have a new president on a mission from the people to clean up the mess in Washington. Congress will have prepared the way. The corruption purge in Washington will have arrived. The final phase of the Seven Year plan will begin.

Reform in Washington isn’t new but, this time, the preparation is different. The people have been battling locally and pushing Congress to expose federal corruption. When the new president takes office, the corrupt will be vulnerable as they never have been before.

Taking a bulldozer to the place is satisfying but a precision brutal purge of the corruption will leave something in place to rebuild. There are three layers of attack: The old leadership must be removed. New leadership must be installed in departments that have become government protectors rather than public servants. Government regulation and government spending must be reformed.

The new administration will need to act decisively on Day One. A stack of Executive Orders should be signed that rescinds every Executive Order signed in the previous administration. Keep nothing. End them all. Anything that really needs to be done can get new EOs.

Also on Day One, every presidential appointee should be fired. Career employees who can be removed should be furloughed and leave their positions immediately awaiting final action. They will have their security clearance revoked or put on hold. Everyone removed will have to turn in access passes and keys. Each one will be individually evaluated for the possibility of being retained but, for now, they are out. These terminations should be done without remorse

The proposed actions dont go nearly far enough. Federal agencies one by one need to be downsized and distributed around the US. Start with the court system since a conservative cannot get a fair hearing in DC. See Emmit Sullivan, Flynn judge.
Now those would be exciting executive orders.

Only way to be sure the mess is cleaned up is to fire ALL the bureaucrats and political appointees. Then rehire and reappoint. Else nuke it from orbit.

I agree..a nice dream.

But no way there is anything close to the political will required to dismantle and re-form the fedgov.

I seriously doubt the MAGA-Republicans have enough votes to obtain a majority in Congress this year or ever as we keep seeing so called MAGA-Republican elected officials abandoning our goals & dreams. And without a majority there will be no reforms.

The only way I see any vestige of a Constitutional Republic ever returning is either all out civil war, such as happened during the French Revolution or secession of the Red States. Either way, there will be a lot of blood shed.

Clean Sweep followed by term limits and any other punitive measures to ensure Pols and their Toadies NEVER profit from being in Government. But then again, Nuking from Orbit would be faster.

Lets not forget to shift education back to the states (if they want stupid kids, fine) and get rid of the Dept of Education. We can also throw in removal of EPA and other alphabet soup agencies. Remove the politics from the FBI and return it to an actual investigative agency that serves the people, not other masters. Get rid of foreign money and influence, start enforcing immigration law - get rid of H-1B visas, and return manufacturing back to the US (tax the hell out of companies until they realize it’s in their best interest to make the products we use in our own country).

Senator Joseph McCarthy worked to expose Communists and traitors in the 40s and 50s. He was villified at the time but hindsight and released FBI records tell us that he was mostly right. Some say he was murdered for his stance.

The same anti-American forces that McCarthy worked to excise in his day remain, only today they are more powerful and operate with impunity.

Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives dominate our news, TV programming and movies. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives dominate our education system. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives ARE the democrat party. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives sit in black robes throughout our courts.

Today, we face a much more powerful enemy than the one of the 40s and 50s. We're past any tipping point. I don't believe anything short of a civil war will remove the traitors in our midst.

Even to eliminate just 1 or 2 old bureaucracies meets enormous opposition. D.C. is this big bureaucratic triangle where huge amounts of money goes (a lot it borrowed) and is never seen again.

We, the people, need to clean House (and Senate) but Trump is making it difficult for us to do our part of the swamp draining by continuing to endorse swamp monsters.

His endorsements have not worked out that well for us.

McCain.
Romney.
The infrastructure bill passed with the help of these nineteen Assistant Democrats.

Dan Sullivan (R-AK) Trump endorsed
Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) Trump endorsed
Mike Crapo (R-ID) Trump endorsed
Roy Blunt (R-MO) Retiring
Richard Burr (R-NC) Retiring
Deb Fischer (R-NE) Trump endorsed
Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Trump endorsed
Rob Portman (R-OH) Retiring
Thom Tillis (R-NC) Trump endorsed
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) being primaried by Trump endorsed candidate
Jim Risch (R-ID) Trump endorsed
Chuck Grassley (R-IA) Trump endorsed
Bill Cassidy (R-LA) Trump endorsed
Kevin Cramer (R-ND) Trump endorsed
Roger Wicker (R-MS) Trump endorsed
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) Trump endorsed
John Hoeven (R-ND) No endorsement yet
Susan Collins (R-ME) Trump endorsed
Mitt Romney (R-UT) Trump endorsed

Plus this cycle, Amnesty Senator Rubio, Crapo, Grassley, Hoeven, Lankford, Lee, Moran, Scott, Thune and Young all need to be primaried in 2022, even if Trump endorses them.

NC’s Burr and Tillis are major disappointments. Burr I expected: he has been half dumble for years and is retiring...might as well screw this state one more time.
Tillis OWES his re-election to Trump...and the fact that Cunningham couldn’t keep it in his britches..
But he voted for this infrastructure lie anyway.

Well, we are getting a piece of Hwy 421 built! Hoopty-damn-do.

The system will not reform itself, I think that is pretty clear, and the trend is to more corruption, not less.

What WILL reform the system is wiping away all obligations (present and future) through default, inflation, and currency collapse from printing money.

So be careful what you ask for.

A new financial/government regime must not be burdened by old, corrupt, unpayable debts that obligated Americans that aren’t even born yet.

This means Social Security goes away, Medicare/medicaid goes away, federal pensions go away, everything that is piled into “unfunded liabilities/unfunded mandates” must go away.

Only then is it possible to return to a functional system with a significantly lower level of corruption.

How badly do Americans want to fix things?
