In a perfect world. I don’t see it happening no mater that it is badly needed.

Only way to be sure the mess is cleaned up is to fire ALL the bureaucrats and political appointees. Then rehire and reappoint. Else nuke it from orbit.

I seriously doubt the MAGA-Republicans have enough votes to obtain a majority in Congress this year or ever as we keep seeing so called MAGA-Republican elected officials abandoning our goals & dreams. And without a majority there will be no reforms.

The only way I see any vestige of a Constitutional Republic ever returning is either all out civil war, such as happened during the French Revolution or secession of the Red States. Either way, there will be a lot of blood shed.

Lets not forget to shift education back to the states (if they want stupid kids, fine) and get rid of the Dept of Education. We can also throw in removal of EPA and other alphabet soup agencies. Remove the politics from the FBI and return it to an actual investigative agency that serves the people, not other masters. Get rid of foreign money and influence, start enforcing immigration law - get rid of H-1B visas, and return manufacturing back to the US (tax the hell out of companies until they realize it’s in their best interest to make the products we use in our own country).

Senator Joseph McCarthy worked to expose Communists and traitors in the 40s and 50s. He was villified at the time but hindsight and released FBI records tell us that he was mostly right. Some say he was murdered for his stance.

The same anti-American forces that McCarthy worked to excise in his day remain, only today they are more powerful and operate with impunity.

Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives dominate our news, TV programming and movies. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives dominate our education system. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives ARE the democrat party. Anti-American marxists, socialists and progressives sit in black robes throughout our courts.

Today, we face a much more powerful enemy than the one of the 40s and 50s. We're past any tipping point. I don't believe anything short of a civil war will remove the traitors in our midst.

Nope, it’s not possible without violent, killing war.

We, the people, need to clean House (and Senate) but Trump is making it difficult for us to do our part of the swamp draining by continuing to endorse swamp monsters.

His endorsements have not worked out that well for us.

McCain.
Romney.
The infrastructure bill passed with the help of these nineteen Assistant Democrats.

Dan Sullivan (R-AK) Trump endorsed
Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) Trump endorsed
Mike Crapo (R-ID) Trump endorsed
Roy Blunt (R-MO) Retiring
Richard Burr (R-NC) Retiring
Deb Fischer (R-NE) Trump endorsed
Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Trump endorsed
Rob Portman (R-OH) Retiring
Thom Tillis (R-NC) Trump endorsed
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) being primaried by Trump endorsed candidate
Jim Risch (R-ID) Trump endorsed
Chuck Grassley (R-IA) Trump endorsed
Bill Cassidy (R-LA) Trump endorsed
Kevin Cramer (R-ND) Trump endorsed
Roger Wicker (R-MS) Trump endorsed
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) Trump endorsed
John Hoeven (R-ND) No endorsement yet
Susan Collins (R-ME) Trump endorsed
Mitt Romney (R-UT) Trump endorsed

Plus this cycle, Amnesty Senator Rubio, Crapo, Grassley, Hoeven, Lankford, Lee, Moran, Scott, Thune and Young all need to be primaried in 2022, even if Trump endorses them.

The system will not reform itself, I think that is pretty clear, and the trend is to more corruption, not less.

What WILL reform the system is wiping away all obligations (present and future) through default, inflation, and currency collapse from printing money.

So be careful what you ask for.

A new financial/government regime must not be burdened by old, corrupt, unpayable debts that obligated Americans that aren’t even born yet.

This means Social Security goes away, Medicare/medicaid goes away, federal pensions go away, everything that is piled into “unfunded liabilities/unfunded mandates” must go away.

Only then is it possible to return to a functional system with a significantly lower level of corruption.

How badly do Americans want to fix things?

Any company would fire the whole mess of management if they had under-performed a tenth as bad as our government.

It has become nothing but a lucrative jobs program for Democrats - more of the eternal pension program from h*ll.

Get rid of the unions.

Then investigate it like the Dems are investigating the Jan 6 protesters. Make a mountain out of every molehill. (Will never happen of course)

Then break up DC and move the agencies (that are not shut down) out to North Dakota. And move them on Jan 21. The brisk weather will serve to keep them wonderfully focused.

If the US can shed (4,5) million jobs after Vietnam and WWII, then it is time to pare down the federal government.

If anyone needs an excuse, how about:

“We are broke as a country”

We have things we can do today because 3 states have judges who say their elections of 2020 were UNLAWFUL because they did not follow state election laws. (ballot harvesting, retention of election materials, mail ballots). Persons sitting in Congress from those 3 elections should all be expelled.

The legal tool to use is a quo warranto (by what authority?) used to remove elected officials. It is filed in a fed district court, naming the Senators and Representatives from the unlawful election. Those persons have no presumption of their office or innocence; they must prove the election was lawful, despite their courts stating it was not.

I haven't worked out how that would change the majority status, but likely Pelosi will lose the House chairmanship. That's a great start coming into the 2022 elections, right?

This. Would be a good start.

Add to that repealing legislation that expanded the meaning of Interstate Trade (just look up bills authored by Senator Snarling Arlen Specter) and ones that weakened the 10th Amendment.
