Hello. My Name is Cold War Veteran - Submarines and I’m a Drudgeadholic. It has been almost 24 hours since I’ve visited that site and I’m feeling ok. My sponsor told me that it would be hard at first but I feel I’m making it. I just couldn’t keep feeling sick and tired reading that once great site. I have removed it as my home page, replacing with Breitbart which feels strange but I’m getting used to it.
Now that I have accepted my addiction and taken steps to move in a much better direction including Free Republic, Liberty Daily, Conservative Treehouse, Conservative Review and a couple of others I actually feel much better. I know I have a lot of work to do but with everyone’s help I know that I will make it.

Drudge is just another opportunist or even a coup sympathizer. He has completely sold out. There is no reason to give him any clicks at all.
Libertydaily.com and Whatfinger.com are much better.

Thank you for your witness. I, too, was a Drudge A Holic 1995-2015 and for twenty years. I now look to a Higher Power and apologize to those I have hurt in my family. Free Republic is a supportive group during desolate times. Whatfinger is fun and reading books is healthy. Power to you. Tell Matt to get lost.

Drudge Report was a nationally respected Conservative voice for more than 10 years.
In his prime Drudge could do more damage to the Political Left with one headline than Rush could do in a three hour broadcast.
He was the greatest headline writer of his generation.
He occupied a unique little corner of the World Wide Web.
Losing Drudge to the Political Left has caused real damage to the Conservative Movement.
I never saw the appeal. I don’t miss Drudge in the least. He was almost worthless to me.

I use Opera browser and installed 2 extensions - uBlock Origin and JavaScript Switcher ( lets you turn off Javascript on sites. Just turn it off the first time you visit and it stays off ) . I go to LibertyDaily and don't have the popup ads or the sidebar ads.

I too have deleted all bookmarks for Matt Sludgeraker as well. I refuse to give him my clicks as he has gone full tilt left. Maybe old Matt is tilting hard left due to having his fudge packed to hard a few times to many to the left part of his queer brain.
