Hello. My Name is Cold War Veteran - Submarines and I’m a Drudgeadholic. It has been almost 24 hours since I’ve visited that site and I’m feeling ok. My sponsor told me that it would be hard at first but I feel I’m making it. I just couldn’t keep feeling sick and tired reading that once great site. I have removed it as my home page, replacing with Breitbart which feels strange but I’m getting used to it.
Now that I have accepted my addiction and taken steps to move in a much better direction including Free Republic, Liberty Daily, Conservative Treehouse, Conservative Review and a couple of others I actually feel much better. I know I have a lot of work to do but with everyone’s help I know that I will make it.

Seriously, I never was much of a Drudge fan, although I did consult the site a lot during the run-up to the 2016 election. It was useful ... but so were a lot of other sites, Free Republic tops among them.
Drudge can just go off and be the sodomite that we now know he is.
I still end up going to it, but feel like I’m reading the Washington Compost.

IF I’ve been to Drudge Report more than eight times in the past eighteen years I’d be surprised. I never liked the format. Just never acquired the addiction, so I guess that’s good.
Whatfinger.com is the real antidote to Drudge, it works for me!!!!!
I gave up the Drudge Report around the first of the year, and I haven’t missed it at all.
