a passenger car couldn’t withstand those side loads.

the weight to impact area ratio allowed this truck to make it.

They’re all idiots. Don’t EVER do that along a road surrounded by FLAT land!

Guardrails are missing precisely where they are most needed. No thanks.

Wow, that’s insane, I’d try it!
But that’s what I was wondering, is whether an empty truck would make it.

That would be a great commercial for rain tires.

Guardrails are missing precisely where they would be washed away if they were installed.

Correction: They’re not ALL idiots. The driver’s an idiot. I lost connection before I saw the dozen or so people he stacked on the OUTSIDE of the truck. They’ll all be victims of his stupidity, probably desperate enough for his wages that they’ll do ANYTHING.

The driver’s an idiot.

The driver is incredibly skillful. We are most blessed; we live in America, where we can afford to build better roads. Now you can thank God in Heaven for your blessings, or you can vomit invective at others.

Your choice.

I don't know, the road at the end of the video kinda looks like our spring roads here in S.E. Michigan......The only thing missing are the orange cones and patching crews.........
