FULL TITLE: REVEALED: 'Railroad crossing had been malfunctioning' before train carrying Republican lawmakers hit a garbage truck and killed driver
The railroad crossing where a train carrying Republican lawmakers struck a garbage truck killing the driver Wednesday morning had been malfunctioning, residents in Crozet revealed.
Benny Layne, who lives near the horrific crash site and found the destroyed garbage truck on his property, told the Associated Press that the crossing arms had not been working properly for quite some time.
He said the arms would stay down for hours at a time and he recently witnessed a line of cars waiting at the crossing after they were signaled to stop although a train was not approaching. Layne said several motorists eventually got out of their cars to help guide other drivers safely around the malfunctioning arms so they could cross the tracks.
According to Layne, a man was seen examining the crossing arms earlier in the week.

Doesn’t matter, there are thousands of at grade RR crossing in this country that have no safety features at all. To blame a cross-arm is like blaming a malfunctioning safety for you shooting yourself.
You apparently don’t notice your garbage pickups. One to drive, two to load the garbage.
Our trash pickup truck has a driver and mechanical arms.

Half of congress, some with their families, were on the train. The roads along the route were supposed to be closed as a matter of security. So how did a vehicle get anywhere near the tracks?
There’s a RR crossing on the road we live on and the arms malfunction more often than we’d like. Come down when there’s no train (dropped on Hubby’s truck last year), don’t drop when there is a train. Others in the area have done the same.
It’s up to the RR company that owns the tracks to keep them maintained and they aren’t always on top of that.

Correct. I believe this was a hit job and attempt at mass murder of Republicans.
We can’t be sure at this stage. But this *may* have been a serious-yet-deniable attempt to wipe out half of congress.
The Deep State is composed of increasingly desperate psychopaths. Derailing *this* train would have also derailed the Trump train.
And if anyone reflexively says ‘that’s a conspiracy theory’ - congratulations. You just faithfully repeated the CIA’s defence of the Warren Report.
This train had security scouting out the tracks ahead by car and chopper. It is a mystery how this could have happened.
I would say whomever in charge of security has some explaining to do.
Very Simple remedy to these unknowns.
Have our stellar FBI do intensive background checks on the garbage workers and the garbage company.
Througly interrogate the survivors on the truck.
