From this Daily Progress article, 1 dead after train carrying GOP lawmakers hits truck in Crozet, there is this.

Railway company CSX said it owns the track but leases it to Buckingham Branch Railroad, which is responsible for signals and maintenance of the track.

Some protocol dictated that they be on a Train.

A bunch of legislators on a train after the SOTU isn’t normal practice. There was some reason they were being shuttled on train. Not a bus, not plane but a train. That’s just odd.

I do know that Trains are designed and maintained around certain scenarios. For instance, FEMA decides that 2 million people need to be moved along a piece of track, so they will contact the rail company to provide extra work and maintenance along that specific rail, or platforms every 4 miles instead of 10 or something.

They do this because trains provide a unique conveyance. So to see these people on a train tells me that some protocol was toggled.

>> four biological arms <<

Otherwise known, at least in my area, as two undocumented Central American immigrants.

>> Crozet is still pretty rural <<

What do the locals call the place?

Is it Cro-ZAY?

Or Cro-ZETTE?

Or maybe CROZE-it?

I hope they get deported. Soon.

In my area, it’s a couple of rednecks.

Dream on.

It’s never gonna happen — unless and until we repeal the welfare and minimum wage laws, so that a bunch of currently-unemployed teenage blacks and/or rednecks could be induced to “do the jobs that Americans don’t want.”

Here’s something interesting from Zero Hedge:

https://www.opdeepstate.com/2018/02/01/gop-train-crash-no-coincidence/

This is just another data point, but there data seems more consistent than what’s in this . . . article.

Why would families, with kids, during a school day, when Congress was SCHEDULED to be in session, be on a train headed for a continuation of government location?

My trash is not provided by government, but a private contractor. 2 - 3 people in the truck. No hydraulic arms.

And I choose to do business with this company because the owner is a veteran and living the American dream. I could go with one of those super big companies and become a nothing to them. But my little guy is nice and has great customer service.

Well, around here,& I had supposed everywhere else, they make it illegal to go through with a crossing arm down, even with no train in sight. My hope is that someone from the railroad is charged with a crime since there was a death as a result of malfunction.....IF this is what actually happened.

Hmm, the images don't appear for me, maybe they do on Chrome, but not on Firefox, had that problem before. I will ask for original link.

I saw this elsewhere, copying from someone's comment, I did not go to the original source so don't have link:

Right out of the gate, there appears a glaring issue.

The business, TIME DISPOSAL, has a registered address, which is listed to two different Time Disposal companies, however, both appear to be INACTIVE as of 1/31/2018

Works on Chrome, hopefully others can see the images. Pinging a few people sort of randomly, I don’t know where the main train accident thread is.

Just shows the mangled truck and an undamaged truck, showing the logo, and some info purporting to show that TIme Disposal is not active as a business. Which seems to be untrue!
