My usual carry gun is a Kimber Ultra Carry Stainless but at times I’ve carried a 1970 era Chief’s Special Airweight and even a S&W 657 3-inch 41 magnum. The 41 is carried with moderate power handloads pushing a 215 gr. Keith-style lead bullet at 900 fps out of that 3-inch barrel.

I love revolvers for quick first shot accuracy and natural pointing. But I love autos too.

You guys should start a club. I'll happily buy you all the first round of beer for your tears. :)

A S&W Model 60, although not as much as I used to. I now prefer an LCP for summer carry.

In winter, a 686+ is sometimes on my hip. Hard to conceal it, though, when it is 100+ degrees out.

Dan Wesson .357Mag with the snubbie barrel. Simply Rugged leather IWB holster and belt. I prefer this concealed carry over my Browning Hi-Power that I carried for a few years.

I much more prefer the safety features of revolvers.

Muzzle blast must block out the Sun!

Usually my 2nd shot brings it home
And .38s get me there.

Love My RUGER!

S&W Model 60 in 38. 1-7/8” barrel. Small, light, dependable, and most importantly, I’m very proficient with it as I’ve practiced with it over 40 some years.

I have other carries, but this 60 is still my favorite and only wheel gun I carry.

>>The problem is that with the enclosed hammer it’s difficult to keep it in place in a holster. There’s nothing for a strap to grab onto and I don’t need it tumbling onto the floor.

I never understand why people will spend several hundred dollars on a gun and then go cheap on a holster. I own several quality holsters for my Airweight Bodyguard with shrouded hammer and it doesn’t fall out of any of them.

But I had this generic Uncle Mike’s once and...

A Colt Police Positive (4th issue).38 special.

I’m tall and can carry this in an inside the belt holster.
Probably the most balanced .38, Colt ever produced.
It’s light(to me anyway,) fast, and being all steel can use +P loads.
If you ever shoot one you’ll see what I mean.

Primarily carry a Shield S&W 9.
When I carry a revolver It’s a S&W 38 Snub w/5 rounds on board.

I don’t have but am looking at SW 317s. 8 shot air weight revolver. With the right holster you would forget you’re even carrying it.
