Sounds perfect. The farther I am from neighbors the better. So the upper Peninsula Of what?
Michigan.

I would not enjoy burning my leg on the exhaust tip every time I got out of a Viper.
Remember the Chenoweth dune buggy?
Thanks, I’ll hit Zillow on that area. I imagine there’s plenty of water, a very good thing!
I love the name Reese’s pieces for a calico. It’s perfectly fitting and very clever can’t believe I never thought of it :-)
After reading your homepage and sniffing over the sweet tribute to long-lost furbabies, I thought you might be interested in my tribute to my latest loss:

In these kinds of vehicles, a lot of the rates have limitations that wouldn’t come on a Camry. And a place like Des Moines would be vastly different from someplace in New Jersey.
So pokey compared to today! LOL
Hard to shoot straight going 95 over a sand dune
I wanted a Cagiva Elefant
I Dreamed of the Chenoweth...
Had a great Baja Bug in Arizona
Back in the 80’s.
I’d drive that to the party store, to the watering hole on summer nights, around the high school at cheerleader practice (kidding).
It’s fantastic because it’s unpretentious. It’s got that classic buggy look and can school all those fast and furious nippon denso pinheads.
My dad had one of the old school blue glitter fiberglass tubs dropped on a beetle. I took my drivers test in that car. No seat belts!
I pay $1000/year for a 20 year old Lincoln. My 250cc scooter runs $310/yr.
Accident free for a LOOOOONG time.
I don’t know where you are, but your numbers sound really low.
We are sand brothers LOL
Jeez!
I’ll keep my 2002 Honda S2000, now worth about $15 grand, but only gets a zero to sixty in a lowly 5.4 seconds, 2 liter, 240 hp, natural aspirated mode. Most efficient production engine ever built. Hot cam engages at about 6000 rpm, throws your head back on to her 9000 rpm redline. Awesome car!
Holding on to it for some more years, hopefully to get the value into the $$classic$$ price point.
We flew Planes ,drove Tanks, LAVs HMMVs, and all in Az. Missed my dirt bike so largely hiked.
There may have been helocopters invoved but I did not like that ***T
250 Vespa runs that high?
Insurance is insane
I blame it on the Who, starting that whole Mod, Rocker rift
I drive an exotic. The insurance is quite reasonable - however it is 6 years old so with the massive depreciation comes a massive reduction in insurance premium.
I have also never been responsible for an accident.
I don’t buy new exotics but rather single owner, 5-20k miles, 4-6 years old. Many of them are stupidly cheap. To buy. Maintenance is considerably more than average but not as bad as you might think.
Here’s a list of some of the most expensive cars to insure. They mostly cost well over $100k and $3k to $4k average annual rates.
