I love Prime and watched all of High Castle episodes.
As much as I loved Top Gear, the new series hasn’t gripped me enough for some reason. I’ve watched a couple of episodes.
I have never watched a single Netflix original. As they replace the good stuff with that trash, they become less and less worth it.
I’m done with them. AZ Prime as far more old movies and WWII documentaries.
Go with Kodi. Free. Watch whatever you want.
This is why I will buy physical media as long as it’s available.
Netflix is like digging through a pile of old magazines at the dentist.
I have enjoyed several amazon prime shows..even liked billy bob in goliath....breaking bad guy show Sneaky Pete was good
Netflix is beting stupid- they don’t have to buy the garbage that advertisers make broadcast, cable show now.
They should pick content their *subscribers* want instead.
There just isn’t much on TV worth watching. Most movies aren’t all that great either. But there are soooooo many good books out there!
They cut and add all the time. knock off the drama.
I was in the middle of rewatching Quantum Leap when they pulled the series on January 1. Now, I’m hoping I make it through The Blacklist. As it’s an ongoing, I doubt if there’s any danger. And, besides, it won’t be gone in April per their list, and I can definitely finish in that huge amount of time.
I watch X-Files occasionally, since I did not watch the original broadcasts. I think I am in Season 3. I hate that they may be removing it.
I recall they did the same with the Stargate TV series. I was through about Season 3 there, too. AP did pick up the series. I was watching Stargate Universe via AP, but after about 9 episodes, AP made the series pay rather than Prime. I figured AP did the same with the original Stargate TV series.
Kodi
Also, the movies they were offering were worse than 'B.' I figured they were moving away from paying for movies and forcing their clientele to watch netflix original shows.
One word Firestick.
I got rid of Netflix during the boycott due to White People new show coming out in April. I have not missed it a bit. I still have cable, Hulu and Amazon Prime so I am more the able to watch something.
I dumped them about 6 months ago.
I have Prime and even though they have their share of repulsive shows, there are some good ones and they offer a LOT more movies in the different sections than Netflix ever did.
I like Prime a lot for the 2 day delivery and the Amazon Fresh.
Plus I can watch all the B horror movies i like for free :)
Dumped Dish last week. Never missed a beat.
Wife springs for Netflix, I pay for Hulu. With the smart TV and over the air channels I have all the programming I’ll ever need.
Now can someone explain how I can stream Fox News and CNN via YouTube in HD without missing a beat? I thought those channels were somehow only view-able by forking over money to some provider?
Ah, crap. I was 6 seasons into the X-Files.
I’d dump it if hubby wasn’t addicted to it. They don’t give you enough info on a movie to make a decision if you really want to watch that movie.
He has chosen murder movies many times only to have to dump them. I am the MOTHER of a murdered child. I DON’T WANT TO WATCH THAT CRAP, IT TRIGGERS NIGHTMARES PSTD STUFF.
