Glenn Beck Praises Trump’s Budget Cuts: ‘I’m So Pro-Trump Right Now’

Outspoken Trump critic Glenn Beck praised President Trump’s proposed federal budget on his radio show Thursday, declaring himself “pro-Trump” after highlighting the president’s proposed spending cuts. The radio host gleefully read out a list of some of the agencies and programs Trump’s budget would cut, including the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Endowment for the Arts, and so on.

“And my favorite: The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars,” he said, concluding the list.

Beck, who has written and spoken extensively about his dislike of President Woodrow Wilson, joked with his co-hosts that the inclusion of the center named after the progressive president was “an olive branch” to him from the Trump administration.

“Clearly, that was an outreach to you, Glenn,” show guest John Ziegler said.

“It was,” Beck agreed. “That was the olive branch, and I’ll take that olive branch. I am so pro-Trump right now.”

Check these two articles:

http://www.glennbeck.com/2016/05/25/brad-thor-trump-is-a-potentially-extinction-level-event-for-our-republic/

“Brad Thor, author of the new book Foreign Agent, joined The Glenn Beck Program to sound the alarm and rally Americans behind stopping Donald Trump — and he came out with both guns blazing. “I think Trump is an extinction-level event potentially for our republic, for democracy. This is one of the greatest crises our nation has seen since the Great Depression, since World War II — is a potential Donald Trump presidency. It is a disaster for liberty,” Thor said.”

And then he endorsed Trump.

Thor is a long-time friend of Beck’s. If he can do it, why do you rule out Beck himself doing so?

My impression of him the first time I heard him on the radio was “used car salesman.” My opinion hasn’t changed.

This is as bad as Mitt Romney being a “severly conservative” governor.

After months of attacking Trump with vehemence and passion, Beck and Thor do a u-turn on a dime. I don’t trust flip-floppers.

They’re dying on the vine, after having depended upon the oft-predicted Trump collapse that never came. Time for an about face, not that they have any credibility remaining among those who have paid attention. It’s not just nutty Beck, either.

Beck must have realized he is finished, and now he is begging for followers.

Too late Beck... You sold out to the losers!

What is the value of praise from the faithless?

I love this quote. What's it from?

I’m flattered. It came from wherever ideas come from, or maybe a forgotten memory.

Expect George Soros to cover the shortfall - at least that’s what I’d hope his ersatz roving anarchists would think.

Haven’t gone through the ENTIRE list yet, but I can say with certainty that the Appalachian Regional Commission does not need to be eliminated. Grants from ARC are often the ONLY way many small, impoverished towns can pay to have clean drinking water and fix their sewer systems. The federal gubment (thru EPA) FORCES the State Agencies to impose HUGE fines and often insanely expensive corrective actions on these small communities, and then basically refuses to help provide any funds for them to perform the actions that they have imposed. ARC is one of the few ways many of these communities can get any money to do what’s been required. States often have loan programs, but the requirements are most often DRIVEN by...you guessed it, EPA, and many many can’t quality because of stupid federal bean counters in other departments. The towns answer to the State bean counters who answer to EPA bean counters who answer to IG bean counters who answer to...you get the idea...and halfway up the chain no one’s goals are the same anymore. If there’s a problem, fix it, don’t get rid of it. If your doctor’s answer to a sprained ankle or a bunion was to just automatically amputate your leg rather than deal with the real problem, I’d say your doctor was wrong or had been misled. And don’t just ASSUME they’re going to fix it so that ARC is just not needed anymore by getting rid of all the bean counters and red tape that causes it to be needed. They’d have to get rid of Congress itself for that to happen. Oh, and Beck still sucks.

That is great, but I doubt you were out there actually pushing for Hillary to win.

There is nothing conservative about Beck, he is liar and traitor.

He would have had preferred Hillary win and then put on his conservative act.

That's great but...

For the last almost 9 years we have had what I call "the great disillusionment" i.e. our good guys are anything but. It started with Noonan and Mamma Bush and their comments about Sarah Palin. Then they all fell, Kruthammer, Kristol, Levin, Beck, Erick Erickson, etc etc. Then, all the politician's that had us saying Et tu, Brute?, Hailey Barbour and screwing us and give us Thad Cochran again, and then McCain, Boehner, and Eric Cantor to name a few....

Pardon me but my eyes are a bit yellow after 9 years of this, more so with someone messing around with cheeto's....
