A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...
Mel Gibson's film won sounds effects award...
Oscars??? I thought this was the BET Awards.
Blacks are 2-2 on awards so far... they’re gonna win another with Denzel. So, it will 3 of 4 major acting awards.
I guess that will stop all the #OSCARSOWHITE tweets

And in most cases they portray characters whom are of much more moral character than they have ever been in real life.
I caught the opening act with Justin Timberlake. He sure gave Jimmy Kimmel some dirty looks when it was all said and done. Not sure why. Maybe it was because Kimmel didn’t catch that mike that Timberlake threw at him. (Not sure why he threw it at him, either.)
That’s it, that’s all I watched of it...but I don’t watch any of those award shows. I haven’t seen any of the movies. I might catch a couple when they come out on Netflix or cable.
If you can make it through a few hours of the rudeness and conservative bashing right in your face, more power to you. I can’t.
I don’t watch these award shows because I think they’re overlong and boring. I just read about it the next day.
I think that comments like “Hollywood is a cesspool” and “Hollywood is the spawn of Satan” are very ignorant.

I did a Google Search, in past years the Oscars have showed every year a decline. They are way too far into themselves and built into their own fame more importance than they really are. They are the at the front of the world of FAKE...everything, they ACT. They pretend. WHY give them the time of day.
I don’t think Viola Davis said anything about Prez Trump in her speech...She thanked her family mostly...
I do. That’s a new TV. I’d smash it in five minutes.
Don’t know if I saw a movie in 2016.
If I want, I’ll watch one of them in a year when it’s free on Prime.

NO.. she didn’t. And, she TOTALLY deserved her award. She was the best in that category, by far...
I wasn’t so enamored with Ali. He was just so-so.

Viola Davis did deserve it, for sure... She was amazing in Fences.
Ki,,el said that after that performance InSync may let him back in the band. It was a joke since JT left the band and not the other way around. The look was a staged anger as a comedy reaction to Kimmel. IMO
I’d rather watch re-runs of Storage Wars......Yeeeeeep.
