Anyone had any luck using Flex Seal? I'm betting it's no where as good as the guy on tv says it is.
Thought I'd ask to see if anyone has tried it.
I included UFOs as a topic just in case this stuff works in space. HA!
And it worked to stop data leaks from my computer. . .gave the USB ports a quick spray and data leaks stopped (come to think of it, everything stopped about that time).
Maybe hitlery might feel it is worth using. . .after she “wipes” her server/computer with a rag, of course.
Good question.
Years ago we had a similar question about that "spray-on hair replacement" stuff (maybe 1980's-era).
So one of the guys at work bought some and we helped him try it out at work. Looked great - from 150 ft. Any closer and you could see it was spray paint on his scalp with some fibrous filament-things.
Good for a laugh. Haven't seen it advertised since the 80's, though.
guy = buy
Fresh or Salt? Just wondering to how much pressure you subjected it.
I use it on our sun room. Much easier to apply than caulk when you are standing on a glass sun room. I caulk it every 3 or 4 years. In between that, I hit some of the joints with flex seal, and I have never had problems.
I bought a large container of Gorilla Glue. Used a tiny bit on some project and promptly resealed it.
About two weeks later I needed it for another job and the whole container had turned solid. I phoned their number and the girl said that it was not warranted for that.
Of course I will purchase no more.
Did it look better than Groucho’s shoe-polish mustache?
I know the laser glue pen doesn’t work.
I sprayed the inside corner of my rain gutter twice. Still drips.
I will.
I’ve got a glazed clay flower pot that’s developed a crack. The guy at Lowes recommended this stuff. I try it and report back.
I just left mine on.....
I’m protected against everything!
re: Gorilla Glue turning solid.
I hate SuperGlue for that same reason. I buy it, use it one one project, and the next time I need it, it is solid. And SuperGlue does not even hold that great either.
Thought they were into Babylon Ballistic Banana Peel’s ?
So much so, the fan noise kept him awake at night.
So he filled the free spaces with spray can insulation, and closed up the case.
The heat helped the foam to continue to expand into the running fans.
By the time he realized what was happening, the foam started to harden.
He had a fun time trying to open the case, then carefully chisel out whatever he could salvage.
Can't remember if he saved the case, or just the mobo, drives, etc.
Isn’t Gorilla Glue toxic to dogs?
i used and developed a speech impediment.
One of the all-time Classics!
I have used it on a flat roof that had cracks in asphalt. That was two years ago and still no leaks.
I’ve used this and similar products. Like them very much. Sealed the leaky joints in my gutters, used it on th eunderside of my mower deck to protect it from rock chips and the like. Works as described. Highly recommended.
