They all went to GOP briefing room and Political Pachyderm

To join up with some truly vile anti freepers like Sinkspur and Once Ler etc

Posters they themselves used to despise

So you have to wonder who they detest more

Us or their new buds

Well the proof is in the pudding I’d say

LinkedIn is being ‘spammed’ by fake invitations. These fakers usually take a photo off of linkedIn (or the web) and build a fake profile. They want you to “accept” so they can glean your information and then spam you via other means. . .like email or telemarketers.

LinkedIn is really quick about banning/blocking offending ISPs.

Yeah Mark with friends like him who needs enemies and if Hillary wins he will rail and wail for four years about her policies. Pretty much done with him at this point. He needs to get over his man-crush on Cruz. I was a Cruz supporter from the beginning but once Trump won the nomination why beat a dead horse. You have your choice Trump of Comrade Klinton.

He didn’t spend anywhere near the time he has beating up on Trump with the likes of that scumbag McCain or the lib Romney. Have come to the conclusion Mark is stupidly cutting off his nose despite his face or he is a CINO.

“Costa Rica has no extradition treaty with the U.S., last I heard. Good place to flee from the regime.”

I had not considered that but they are still one of the most socialist countries on the planet.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other, I suppose.

Maybe in this day and age it is a lose-lose situation:

Do you want to get screwed by the socialist government in Costa Rica or here?

“There’s been a Civil War on the Right, that has been brewing for years.”

True, but I saw it between establishment Rinos and Conservatives. Now the war has moved into the “conservative” wing.

PPL who worked for me, and were liberal, were down-sized.

Thank you, I will look into it.

I can't imagine giving up my US Citizenship, but I can easily imagine living as an American abroad.

Someplace where the dollar will go a long way. Spain sounded nice, but so does an island.

As to the original question... no I have not lost any friends over the election. Of course, I can count friends on the fingers of both hands. I have many acquaintances whom I like very much, but few true friends. It's a definition thing.

I do have one friend who is a liberal. She told me she now understands how I felt when Romney was the Republican nominee, and I had to hold my nose to vote for him (actually, I left the top of the ballot blank). She'll be doing the same thing, I imagine. Holding her nose for Hillary.

In response to your post about exploring a move to Spain. I've considered a move myself. How difficult is it for an American with no familial ties to Spain to actually move there? I'd like to retire when Jr. is out of college and enjoy the Golden Years.

it isn't difficult at all. It is encouraged by Spanish authorities. ($$$$) I think you just need to renew your visa every six months. Follow all the laws and be a good citizen with regard to immigration and they absolutely leave you in peace. It is safe, the dollar goes a long way and the weather is gorgeous.

Need to live there (Vanuatu) for 10-yrs before you can petition for citizenship.

Plenty of time to decide if you wish to do the unthinkable and drop your US citizenship.

I can’t see me doing that, but then again, I can’t see letting hitlery and her takers stealing my earnings and savings.

Twin sisters from my high school days back in the 60s, went wacko on me when they found out I was voting for Trump instead of Cruz.

I don't do social media but I did cut them off my email list and stopped responding to their attacks about Trump and his supporters (that would be me).

And they're not even liberals but conservative evangelicals. But their rants and personal attacks remind me of being attacked by the Left.

I won't ever deal with these gals again (I live 2,100 miles away from them) but if they lived closer, I would worry about my safety. They have gone off the deep end.

As far as liberal friends go, there was a time when I was polite to these people. Now, I totally ignore them and have nothing to do with their existence on this planet. By their actions, they are proving they hate this country, and I have an issue with that attitude.

That's been me since obama got in - about the only ones I argue with are those in the comments section, and then that is for those who just read and don't post.

As an aside, I’ve noticed political content conspicuously missing from LinkedIn.

Liberal issues certainly aren't missing from LinkedIn. There is an overwhelming number of articles favoring diversity, environmentalism, and social welfare - all presented in neutral language to make them sound like they are just the normal, every day opinions of random business executives.

I don’t unfriend people usually. I just block them, which can easily be undone. My timeline is always public, so if they want to know what I’m posting they can always go there and look.

We conservatives have a responsibility to keep posting our views and not let personal animosity get in the way of that.

Medved was essentially a Communist back in his college days and the years soon afterwards. Hanoi benefited from his ‘anti-war’ activism, and he went on to work for Red Ron Dellums, the hardest-Left of Democrats at the time. There is nothing particularly patriotic or admirable about Michael Medved, ever the opportunist. His eventual drift over to neoconservatism coincided with the epiphany that his comrades on the Left were also supporting the destruction of Israel, which meant that his parents and brother were at risk.
